If your computer fullfils the system requirements what are said in the readme.txt file inside the Mugen Hi-Res then you've got nothing to worry about. I personally haven't heard of any hard drive failures caused by Mugen.
If your computer gets thrashed by Mugen, I'll buy you a new one.
The disclaimer part is nothing to worry about.

I remember people saying that Hi Res mugen had risk of destroying your hard drive.
What the... Who ever said that? O_o
And yes, it is safe. As much as I know it's as stable as the regular No-limit WinMugen.
The only way for it to destroy your hard drive is probably, if your computer is really crappy and old, and your Mugen is overloaded with characters and stages etc. So I suggest you don't add more stuff to your Mugen, if your computer can't handle it. This applies to every Mugen there is.
There are absolutely no downsides compared to normal Mugen, only advantages.
Hesite no more, get WinMugen Plus and praise it with open arms!
... I sound like one of those guys advertising something on TV.

Whats the point of blocking 74x51 sixed gif-images? I would understand if some people blocked advertisement, but this... Also the point of Ad-Block, is blocking advertisement which the name also refers to; Advertisement-Block. What harm can the forum gif-images possibly do?
