But yes, it was a stupid move. From the whole team. But even before that, from the organization of the contest, for not making it plainly obligatory.

According to the experts, the life vest wouldn't have solved anything at all. The paddlers were caught below the boat and trapped by the currents. Since they didn't wear a vest, the survivors were able to dive and get out of the current. If wearing a vest, almost all the paddlers wouldn't have been able to escape from the boat and they would have perished from extenuation by fighting the current. On top of that, it seems the 5 victims were knocked out from the hit, so a life vest wouldn't have helped them in any case.

But again, this is just an opinion of the experts and only God knows what could have happened should they have worn a life vest.

I come back to the forum after a long hiatus and then I hear about this...

I already know that you wanted to make a real tribute. The problem was the extreme poor quality of the video. Anyway, that was already discussed in the other topic. No need to bring that up here. 

Some of these people used to bash the characters calling them cheap. All of sudden something happens to Reu and now the characters are good? Now they're using them in videos?

They know that everyone who's a fan/friend of Reu is going to be looking for videos about him, so some of them are using these tributes to draw more attention to themselves.

Some people put effort into the tribute, while others are blatantly just using Reu's named to get attention.

Get AnimGet. It takes a screenshot of the screen every ten milliseconds and compares it to the last one made. If something changed, it keeps it. If it's the same, it deletes it.

This in combination with the layer disabling function makes ripping easy.

Something else that you need to download is gimp. With gimp you can select the image you want out of a screenshot. Unlike paint which only lets you use a square to select with you can select by color or shape in gimp. So if you are ripping from something that doesnt have layers then bring out the gimp.

There's no need for PMs.

Why are you saying "we" and "we're"? I was talking about your video in my post. That's the only tribute video that I have watched in this topic.

50-60% of your video is quotes about Reu, but we could barely read them becuase the video was so blurry.

Yeah it's a tribute video, but that doesn't give you the right to half a$$ it. I'm guessing you were expecting me to give the video 5 stars and say, "Good tribute. RIP Reu."? No

If you're going to make a 2+ minute tribute video, make it watchable. If the video quality is that bad at youtube, upload it at another video site.

You've made videos before, so that excuse doesn't work. From what I've seen, you have some good editing skills. <--- Those videos you made were about random mugen characters, so it's easy for me(and others) to looks past the blurriness if there is any.

This tribute stuff needs more effort. Even if it takes you weeks to get the video right. Take the time to make it good.
