--KOF--

MAX Activation: An ability exclusive to the KOF series, where your character enters a glowing state.  This allows you to use a desperation move without consuming a portion of your gauge.  The use of powered-up DMs also becomes possible.

Fallbreaker/Safe Landing/Ukemi: A technique that makes your character roll (rather than fall) upon meeting the ground.  This is deemed a ground escape in the MvC series.

max activation varies a lot in kof, in 2k it can hit and juggle oponents, in 2002 youc an perform it while hitting with basic or adv attacks, at the cost of one extra stock, but allowing you for better combos, let's not mention it's effects, that change even more.

safe landing in kof 11 has a variant in which you can roll forward.

by the way, i was half off on my previous post.

Code:
[Command]
name = "MistuFinahH"
command = ~D, DF, /F, x
time = 12

becomes

Code:
[Command]
name = "MistuFinahH"
command = ~D, DF, F, ~x
time = 12

but then, in the cmd you have to

Quote
triggerall = command = "QCFx" && command != "holdback" & command != "holddown"

in the case of hcfs is the same, in the case of hcb and qcb sub back for forward.

in teh case of dps, take off the down part.

I think I've found a way around the half-ticks by using a cheat code that plays the game at the slower SSF2 speed. Doesn't seem to do any skipping at all.

Thanks for the velocity tips.  :)

to look for the x velocity i suggest.

look for 0 while in the standing state.

walk forward, look for increased value.

keep on walking forward, look for unchanged.

stop, look for 0 again.

walk backwards, look for decreased.

keep on walking backwards, look for unchanged.

use your imagination :P

Y vel is almost the same, except that you will not look for unchanged but.

look for 0 while standing.

jump up, while rising look for decreased.

look for increased while jumping up.

once you are going down keep on looking for increased.

this might be tricky, as the half tickpresent in capcom games can fuck up a perfectly made search. you can do this tick by tick, and when you notice a half tick (usually a jerky movement that has twice the vel), just stop searching and restart the move or skip the tick.

nested folders to diferentiate open and closed chars is ok. probably to tier, or by creator too as well.

also, nested stages, either by game or creator.

i agree with the torrent idea and give it my support; though i can't really apport much to it right now. what about using a new hitspakrs standar for it, with fire,water,etc.. particles and ready to program meltyblood like sparks?

Mind telling the conditions ?

I use two setting for this, one is windowed in above normal, that is the setting i use for testing characters/moves i am working on.

When i want to play a few minutes+ i use high and hardware.

I have not had the lose control for mugen problem in the gamepad, though i lose keyboard control but i donĀ“t know the specific conditions. to recover the KB control, i take focus out  of mugen, then back to it. it ahs only happened in windowed mode, i don't remember ever having focus lost because windows forces that; i will give this lose focus problem some tests when i get back to my home.

also, which are your setting for running mugen in the bg ? (refer to the ai discussion topic in mguen general discussion)

Don't know if this has been posted before. if that's the case dump/delete /merge this topic.

Anyways the thing is this, first you need to make a .cmd or .bat file to run winmugen. The contents of the file are usually:

winmugen.exe -r motif

now, just change it to this.

start /abovenormal winmugen.exe -r motif

high and realtime can also be used for better results; using this i can get winmugen to run at 30fps on my celeron 400 at double res =4 with pretty much every char.

The creation of a MUGEN Commando hunting down & deleting said stuff from the Earth sounds better though. Let's name it the S[size=1pt]ilent[/size] S[size=1pt]torm ?[/size] Commando.

Better yet, use the upgraded, actually useful M[size=1pt]att[/size] H[size=1pt]hannon [/size]  Comando.

What's mgbr ?

It would be funny having people trying to "fix" the characters, though; at least some of them will be looking at mugen character code for once, while the other will just download the unnoficial cns patches.

It should be mandatory for the guild creators to release their chars with a variant of this code, otherwise they should lose their creator status.

the code is not to be added to by normal mugen users to their dl-ed characters, but by creators to their characters, to hijack code thieving and crappy quality + other personal reasons.
