some good news and bad news. good news is i've sucsessfully taken pictures of the first two characters i wanna make and i have enough to make some sprite sheets. bad new is that i stink at making them. any ideas how to make it easyer? does anyone want to work on them with me? the characters are sickle and countdown.

i'm just now getting ready to make this idea come to life, i'm just seeing if anyone wants to help. the link above is what the game origionaly looked like. i've set up what i need to rip sprites myself, but any help would be great.

hey ya'll, i've been working on some of my own characters in the past few months just to get the general idea of how this hole thing works. i've come to ya'll to anounce that i'm remaking one of the lamest games to make it a heck of alot better. Double Dragon V : the shadow falls. when i was younger, i was hooked to the game, now that i'm older, i cant beleve what i was thinking. i figured that i liked the game because of the relation to the show. anywho, i'm just learning how to rip my own sprites, so this is an open invite to anyone that wants to join in. at some point i want to relece the characters with some "new" moves and even some finishers like they had in the game originaly. anyone who knows how to rip sprites and that wants to join, feel free. anyone else who has suggestions, feel free too. i think this will be alot of fun.

i really like this stage for some reason. i've been a turtle fan forever and i like the fact the sign is backwards. i know i'm lame, but that really is neat to me.

there's only one thing that bothers me. the ends of the stage does this weird flickering and when characters get close to it, a part of them stay there. any way to fix that?

first, i wanna say thanks for all the great characters you've made.(including this one)
your characters are some of my favorates. i have two questions though for you. first, where did you get the background? like a dummy, i played it without knowing i needed to add a background for the stage. second, is there a way to asign a background to a character and make sure that the stage will only come up when that character is chosen?

ok, i guess i deserved that. my gramar isnt top notch. guess thats why i'm writing books :D (i got a laugh out of this topic) thanks for the gramar check. i'm just looking for characters that usualy dont have projectiles. the reason for that is that i have a few stages that (for some reason) the projectiles become stuck on the ropes of the ring. they go away after you move away, but i just would rather not have that problem at all. for example sagat's tiger fist's stay there and cause damage even when there stuck. projetles ( if they dont hit) should just move off screen. so i'd just rather nip it problem whit just being picky with the characters. adon, hwa jai and joe are still toss ups. they use there feet for more moves, and thats also a problem. i can take kicks, but i'm trying to go with a theme. blackchaos07, if you dont mind me asking, are you making a boxer too?

ok, i want muai tai fighters, but ones with limmited projetiles (sagat is one that wouldnt be cool in this case) adon, hwa jai and maybe even joe higashi would be cool.i'm realy just looking for characters that have more of a punching aspect like boxers.
