Is there a way that I can make specific intros only appear in arcade mode and not in versus???

I think they've just become the staple of fighting games in general, like they've actually become a mechanic to designing and developing fighters.

But isn't that boring??? Shouldn't all games come with a fresh feel instead of seeming like a repackaged and redesigned idea???

ummm.....

1.Fighting Games being centered around this huge tournament that everybody wants to be apart of....
2.Fighting Games are full of racial stereotypes and don't represent certain nations properly at times.....

etc, etc.....

in your opinions, would adding a modifier button to a character a good way to make the gameplay better??? the modifier would allow the character to use more powerful moves when held down and used with other buttons.....what do you guys think????

they don't agree with my methods.

Then that leaves you with two options: change them or take them elsewhere.......
honestly, this discussion won't lead to anything else.......

Unique meaning completely different fighting styles and moves that all follow their own stories??? yeah that does make a game really interesting......my next question  is: what is your dream fighting game??? what features does it have??? or what features need to be implemented into today's games???

I was wondering(sort of), other than the gameplay what makes certain fighting games stick out and why??? what draws you to these games and not others....Games like Street Fighter, Soul Calibur, and others...what sets them apart??? when they were new what made you say I want to try that game if not just for the mechanics??? anything other than graphics???

Honestly man, we've all told him the same thing. It seems like it's just going into one ear and out the other.

Yeah I know, but it was worth another try since this thread is still going...Sometimes it takes a different way of saying things to get the point across.....I honestly don't see the point in all of this debating though.....

When I say something sucks, that's just my honest opinion. To someone else that may not be the case, but to each his own. I DO say otherwise if it's improved in some way, it's just that most of the time (As in, almost always) it isn't improved at ALL.

I can't help it that my way of feedback is simiar to Tough Love.
Everybody has a choice.......Nobody makes you say hurtful things.....you've probably become used to it, but I think that everyone here is just trying to say that your "way" of doing things is not acceptable, at times. They just want you to be more sincere and less "tough"....I don't think anyone's against tough love but I think everyone has to agree that there has to be a limit...without the limits that the mods and admins enforce the boards would be chaos, IMO....there just needs to be some limits and structure and I think that if you just make a genuine effort to try to be a little more sincere when conversing people will notice your efforts and be more willing to help you out rather than give you a "quick" ban.....though I really don't know the whole story I've read enough to see that this conversation is pointless....I think that you should just try your best at bettering your communication skills...the past is the past and bringing it up and expecting an apology of some sorts from the mods won't happen,IMO....all you can do is live and learn from the experience....and honestly no offense but if you don't agree with the way things are done here than maybe you should consider going elsewhere because the rules that are being enforced have been here for awhile and they won't change because your not "on-board" with them.....I hope that things get better for you and I look forward to seeing you trying to give slightly better feedback ;)

It takes a real man to be able to realize his mistakes and faults, and not only apologize for them but to do something about them.....I can't speak for the forum but just know that I accept your apology whole-heartedly.....Often times we make judgments on things that we don't understand(such as Homosexuals, Religious Cultures, and Masons) but if we take the time to really learn about them, we quickly find out that are assumptions were wrong....Keep learning about the unknown...It's the only way to grow as a person...

I didn't mean to go on and on about it but hey,lol.....your alright in my book ;)

I'm sure you said that, well 70% sure.
I don't think u would say something like that so I probably made a mistake.
What?!?! Due to this comment, this whole debate should be thrown out due to the information being used as evidence has a chance to be invalid......how do you not know??? How could you make a mistake like that??? It seems intentional, IMO....I want to reiterate that this whole thing started because it seems like your feelings were a little hurt, rather than you being tired of his modding skills.....your debate is biased on your personal feelings and not the evidence being provided, if it can even be called evidence anymore......Ask yourself this: Am I trying to get him de-modded because he really deserves to be or because I have personal issues with him???......I don't want to offend you but I think we all know the answer :P

Honestly I think this whole thing is ridiculous.....yes he's said some "touchy" things in the religion topic(that I started) but everybody in their was trying to make it seem as if they were right for some reason or another.....honestly if you didn't want his honest-opinion then you should have left the the topic alone....Religion conversations are usually Taboo and are only meant for people who can actually handle someone debating their beliefs......if Shamrock never made those comments about your beliefs than we wouldn't be here...but since he did...you are trying to use everything in your power to ban him, IMO. You say that religion is only "half" the reason but I have a feeling that it's the only reason. If you can't handle heated conversation then don't enter them, but don't get mad at someone for voicing there opinion adamantly when my question was "What do YOU think about religion and the origin of the universe???"......personally, I think that he should stay as a mod......
