Maybe they could kill off a lot of sf2 and sf3 characters in the intro while introducing a new storyline and boss.  A new ultimate boss similar to Rugal.  In the intro of the game you see many die at his hands.  It would clean up the roster and make someone a badass at the same time.  Maybe a new contender in the street fighter circuit who kills his opponents.  No world domination or cults, just someone who fights and takes lives.  Bringing the story back to street fighting.  Also giving Ryu a formidable opponent, as he is always looking for a good fight.  Perhaps this new opponent kills Ken or Sakura in the intro, and Ryu must keep himself from getting emotional during the fight... resorting to the killing intent.

I would like Capcom to stop the whole "start with a new cast whenever we go up a number except for Ken and Ryu" thing.  I like having all the new characters, but I want the old guys too.  I'd like to see them have more releases and progress with a story like KOF.  New bosses and characters would be nice.  I'd like them to start by having Ryu have killed Gouki and been consumed by the killing intent.  Maybe he could be the 1st new boss and just have Ken selectable.  Vega/Bison could return in a new body.  Maybe a Cammy clone.  Would be nice to see Sakura advance, but I dont think she should ever be as good as Ryu.  I think Dan is necessary.  Alex should become more important storywise, maybe his Gill version could become a future boss.  Mel could be in Ken's winposes, and be playable way down the road.  I'd like to see characters get killed off too.  Not just stop appearing in games.

What's the source of Vega's death? How did he die? That sucks.

Considering that you want new sprites and a new game system, that's quite a lot in fact.

They don't use tag teaming in SF games, they never do. Except for the minor exception in the Zero series with the Dramatic Battle (and reverse Dramatic). And since KOF does that now (or has been doing it ever since the beginning), I don't think Capcom wants to get accused for making SF 'KOF-want-to-be'.

What do I want to see in a legitimate SF4?

- NO RECYCLED SPRITES.

- New characters. And I mean new, not characters like Twelve or that pale looking guy in SF3 that's basically an adopted Guile.

- Gouken?

- A M.Bison that doesn't look like a stereotypical waste

- Ryu, Ken, and the other mainstays can return, but the developers MUST give them a sufficient amount of new moves. Exactly how many incarnations of SF must I go through just to play the same ol' Ryu?

- If you're gonna feature American characters (in any fighting game for that matter), at least let them speak english, not japanese or engrish.

- As far as returning chars that don't get due credit, I'd like to see Guy, Sean, Dudley, and Birdie come back. I'd also like to see Elena come back. Elena is from Kenya, right? Make her look like it, not like a japanese take (if SNK can make KOF's USA team ((Heavy D, Lucky, and Brian)) look legit, so can Capcom). Enough with the shimmering white/gray hair syndrome. I hate that shit.

-...speaking of that matter, whatever new characters are added (still assuming a SF4 ever comes to exist), give them defining features (skin tone, garments, the whole shabang). Characters like KOF's Alba Meira and K' Dash are hard to tell because they either look like transvestites or *&(#j34.
