I really like the colour consistency.
Can you give me some advice? Your background how did you get that?

The Sig I have is my very first attempt.
I can upload a tut in another thread on how to create a similar sig

And the BG is just a sprite background, I added gradients, Gimp clipping Masks, text, and pen lines

You can edit your pallete if it's set up properly, put it into the character and it shouldn't cause problems.

Explaining this may be awkward though. Lets call the # symbol colour and 0 a blank spot on your pallete.

Here's your pallete

###########
####00000000

In those blank spots you can add the extra colours you need. Save your edited pallete and apply it to your group 0, image 0 sprite, readd that sprite to the .sff and recreate your act file with the new pallete. If done right when you add your new sprite it'll show up without turning black.
