Yeah, my IP is dynamic and falls into a pretty global blacklist at times. I could just reconnect in order to solve this but that'd involve work

In case you chumps are wondering, to get to #mugen you must use a IRC client. http://www.mirc.com is the most common one. Connect to SorceryNet and then join #mugen

I'd be there right now but I'm banned from the server again.

super smash bros. for 3ds and wii u is the newest smash brothers game!
http://www.smashbros.com/
videos: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xvudMu-5kIU&list=PLA1lIms2gwaDnOFGXUXtLj8KW5A4qNiKI
daily picture collection: http://minus.com/m_SSB4dailies

- it will run at 60fps on 3ds and wii u
- 3ds version will be released october 3 worldwide (except japan gets it september 13), wii u version will be released Q4 2014
- the wii u and 3ds versions will have the same characters, but will feature different stages. the 3ds version will focus on stages based on portable games, while the wii u version will focus on console games. 3ds stages will have two songs, while wii u stages will have a bunch like in brawl. most stages will have a final destination variant! that means you're not relegated to using the same background all the time if you want to play final destination!
- the game will be somewhere between melee and brawl as far as speed goes
- there will be some form of connectivity between the two versions.
- you can customize your character's moves for local play or online play with friends!
- no tripping :wth:
- changes have been made to the edge grabbing system
Quote
-Air time and accumulated damage will determine your period of invincibility while hanging on an edge.
-Grab controls will no longer be affected by whether you have above or below 100% damage.
- no dlc plans (for now)
- single player won't be as elaborate as brawl's subspace emissary
- 3ds has an exclusive smash run mode
Quote
“Smash Run”: Exclusive to the Nintendo 3DS version of the game is a new mode called “Smash Run.” In this mode, four players have five minutes to enter a dungeon and explore the surroundings, fight enemies and obtain power-ups to enhance their fighters. Once the five minutes are up, all four fighters enter a battle arena using their newly equipped items and power-ups. Enemies encountered in the Smash Run mode are from a wide range of game series. Multiple Nintendo 3DS systems and games are required for multiplayer modes.
- transformation characters are no longer. zelda and sheik are separate. samus and zss are separate. pokemon trainer is just charizard
- both versions will have online. online will have two modes if you're playing with random people: for fun and for glory. for fun is random stages (except final destination) and items. for glory is no items, final destination only (but you can pick characters other than fox!! haha, get the reference). this also includes all the aesthetical final destination variants. if you're playing with friends you can set whatever rules you want.
- bosses might appear in some stages! players will have to defeat them so they go away. or they can just ignore them.
- you can use nfc figures in the wii u version. they store a customized version of that character. the nfc figure also learns from your playstyle
