No will he have a "Serious Mode" or at least a palette, and please use some of his svc chaos v.o. samples :)
This Mr.Karate will have a combination between KOF(2002UM-XIII)/SVC Takuma/Mr.Karate/Serious Mr.Karate Gameplay, and yes, he will have a serious palette too.

Try getting some of the characters chains right.

Ryu should be able to c.mk -> EX Tatsumaki

A.MP to any Shoryuken

Akuma has some missing chains as well.
Those chain combos are already on my chars.
In this update (06-05-2013) i've added more balance and chain combos on my chars, specially Ryu with tatsumaki and ex tatsumaki.

Awesome, I just re-downloaded them all including Ryo again just in case, will check my friend!

Quick suggestion for your characters: tone down the flashiness of their FX and intros. It really clashes with the sprite style. :-\

I agree with C.A.N, some of the FX clash really badly, I hate the super sparks, I reccomend HI-resing the SSF2 Rvial Fx ... or possibly using the sfa3 hr ones ... and also with atomic buster, dhalsim in your style would be amazing, but I'm still leaning towards Guileee
Well, maybe i can reduce the bright and contrast of the AfterImage in some FX, and i can change the superspark FX for a SFA3 X-ism super spark or another one that fits with sf2 sprites, but some chars like Kaiser Vega FX that needs to be seen as a brightfull and powerfull psycho energy

It would be pretty cool if you did, although would he have a different moveset or just play like a powered up version of Ryo?
No, he will be Mr.Karate, he would have a combination of SVC-KOF Mr.Karate/Takuma moveset, but with my gameplay style.

Fuck yes for the Mr. Karate!

Hoping to see regular Akuma, Ken, etc. one day as well as Guile!  but I'm so glad to finally play Ryo!  :-)
Of course, Akuma and ken are on the list! but guile will be the next one ;)

I grew up with my bro's playing SF2 ,I mean like most people we tonked that shit in the arcades and stayed up all night having battles on the SNES version. its crazy to think that years later with MVC3,Tekken ,UFC,SFxT that one of the best drunken gaming nights we've had was on mugen with your SSF'2 Plus characters.Everyone knew the game and could get straight into it and its amazing that you have improved on a classic game

Thanks! :) actually that's the idea, everybody make chars CVS, SVC, KOF, SF3 etc...style, but nobody makes a SF2 sprite style new chars, so, my idea is making a new full game called, Super Street Fighter 2 Plus, with new moves, a balanced gameplay and new characters that fits with SF2 style.

What do you think?? pretty cool huh? maybe i will make a SSF'2 Plus version of Mr.Karate ^^

oh, and i had a idea, how about you make hanzo from world heroes? or even captain kidd...  :bucktooth: i certain would love to see one of them in your style! of course, after you complete robert and guile!  :smug: what about that? what do you think?

You've never played any of his previous releases!? You're in for a treat. I've always loved his creations as they are all smart edits that are very creative, and while edited, do not rely on over-using anything.
No, I had them previously. I deleted them because they were kinda buggy for my tastes. I only downloaded them for feedback and to see if they were fixed (they aren't really fixed even now). I certainly see them over-using flashy FX, but whatever.
LOL! well i already update all my chars, you can test them again and you will see a little different before your last feedbacks.

Sorry,I talked about not neutral pose.
When neutral pose,Ryo can charge power and continue.
But when any arts,player continues pushing button,Ryo can't power charge fastest.
(KOF series can power charge fastest this method)

My bad English gave misunderstanding,sorry.
I need to check this very well because that is not normal.

guille_n_roll, when ryo does a koouken does not have contact with ryu hadouken, is that on purpose?

Oh yeah, it's on purpose because the height of ryo making the kooh ken is taller than ryu making hadouken, it's just like sagat's tiger. so there is no problem.

maybe robert is taller than ryo? i don´t know... but, i´m waiting this robert, for sure...

one thing i like of your chars, is the effect that haou shokouken, hadouken, etc, have... not to mention that i´m a old school player... when street fighter 2 came in arcades, it was a revolution... to see this chars gain new life in mugen... boy, is so nostalgic... keep the good work!!

Actually he looks good, but i like much more the AOF2 standing, maybe i can combine both AOF and AOF2 sprites and make a good robert SSF'2 Plus, of course i need to edit all the sprites to separate the palette colors of the hair, i don't like the purple or green hair, looks weird :S
Anyway, after Guile and another chars like chunli or cammy, i was thinking too in make another SNK warrior and put it my SSF'2 Plus style, i'm talking about this men!!!

robert is a little bit more tall than Ryo but, what do you think?

You know what? i was thinking exactly the same thing that you said, it's not a bad idea make a SSF'2 Plus style Robert and Mr.Karate (with FFSP Ryo sprites). For robert, maybe i can use AOF1 and AOF2 sprites, or KOF94 but KOF94 doesn't look like SF2 style, for AOF 1 or 2 i can reduce the size and make more sprites for different moves and techniques, is not impossible.

First off all, thank you all of you for all your feedbacks! :D Now....
Feedback time~

Everyone:
-Why didn't you mention their command normals and other things like Ryo being able to walk while crouched?
-Juggling after some moves seems kind of inconsistent, especially after wall bounces and launches.
Ryu:
-P2 can air recover from: Tatsumaki (all levels except EX), Hadoken.
-f.Y leaves Ryu at too high a frame advantage.
-EX Tatsu is too safe on block.
-Joudan is way too safe on block.
-He can juggle after Shinku Tatsu.
Ryo:
-Z pushes Ryo too far back to connect with f.Y afterwards midscreen.
-It seems weird that he can cross up with his aerial C when his aerial B can cross up just fine.
-Ryuko Ranbu seems a bit slow, it's kinda useless honestly.
-P2 can air recover after Kouken.
Evil Ken:
-Why does he have both Rasetsu Kyaku and Ashura Senku? Seems kinda weird having two teleport-type moves.
-P2 can air recover after b.C and Hadoken.
Evil Ryu:
-P2 can air recover after: Tatsu (all levels except EX).
-He can juggle after Shinku Tatsu.
Sagat:
-Tiger Knee goes through P2 if close enough.
-P2 can air recover after: Tiger Knee, Tiger Shot.
-He can juggle after Tiger Genocide and Tiger Cannon.
-Tiger Shot and Tiger Cannon misses up close.
Gouken:
-He can juggle after Tatsumaki Gorasen.
-P2 can air recover after Shoryuken, Hadouken.
-Z misses up close.
-EX Senkugoshoha misses up close in the corner.
Shin Gouki:
-P2 can air recover out of: Shakanetsu Hadouken, Hadouken, Gou Shoryuu, Tatsu, Gou Zanku.
-The Kick extension from Hyakki Shu doesn't put P2 in enough hitstun.
Kaiser Vega:
-P2 can air recover out of Psycho Shot.
-Head Stomp doesn't knock an airborne P2 down, leaving him at a disadvantage.
Thanks, i will considerate all for the next update. The P2 air recovery i've been putted based on SFA/Zero 3 air recovery, that's why EX moves doesn't have air recovery. And the Ryo's walking crouched, maybe i can put it on all my chars, but i preffer put it only on Ryo as an unique characteristic.

i was expecting another ssf2 character but great choice with ryo and cool choice of sprites which keeps the retro feel.cant wait to test him out.any chance of a clue at who your next charcter will be ?
GoukiSSF'2 Plus, KenSSF'2 Plus, or GuileSSF'2 Plus............or the 3 at the same time XD

This is my 8th character for the M.U.G.E.N Engine
Ryo SSF'2 Plus.
Included in this release:
*All basics,including specials and super moves, the Zero Counter and EX moves from various SNK games and gameplay from street fighter games.
*One intro (and one with Evil Ken SSF'2 Plus).
*Voice and sound fx pack based mainly in SSF4 and SNK games.
*FX sprites edited by me.
*Two Winning poses.
*12 palettes.

*New Power Charging pose and Victory pose.

Damn! I think you'll be working on Goutetsu or Go Hibiki (Espero que te animes jeje).

I can say from the video that I think there should be one more transition frame for when he goes from whatever back to his basic stance. That back elbow just comes so far out so quickly. Other than that, seems great.

Im totally agree with atomicbuster.

Hahaha, well Go Hibiki and Goutetsu sounds great, maybe i will make them in my future projects.
The transition frame, well, we can't forget it's a SF2 style Character, not like the chars of SF3, CVS, or KOF they have in their animations more frames and the animations are more fluid.
