Well you're not losing anything if you make both a Europe account and Australia account, but the Australia shop contains mostly Europe versions.
I'd say try AU first, then EU.

If the game is in English and it's using that boxart, your copy could be the EU version using a mislabeled cover. Hell if I know.
But I can safely say SEA never had a proper english release of the game. The Asia ver. is strictly Japanese.

You could check the region if the game by importing your save into a USB drive. If the name of the game ID matches any of these, that's probably the region you need to get your data in.

Region 3? I don't see a rating.
Mind posting the disc ID on the side of the box? Might answer everything.

10/13

Pic of the day. Here's Bass, a trophy for the Wii U version!! When I first saw this, I was really surprised by the quality of this trophy and Treble's presence. Even though this will only appear as a trophy, this was made from the ground up. Designers really are amazing.

Zero's here too!! There are also trophies of Roll and Proto Man.

... but DC MvC2 IS the arcade version with menus.
I know. I just did a mistake by copy-pasting, just meant HDR's classic mode. Editing now.

EDIT: Actually, while you're here, I got a question. This is about CVS2, though.
Kinda off-topic, but I ask this because I know local folks here will avoid PS2 CVS2 like the plague if they wanna play seriously but will jump to any DC or arcade machine to play it. Wasn't the PS2 version identical? I mean, the game had cross-platform online multi in Japan, so I was wondering.

They have the source code, not to mention loads of experience repackaging things (more than any company I have ever seen, and Nintendo has rereleased SMB3 no less than 3 times) so I don't understand why we didn't at least get PS1 DS3 with full frames of animation and sound quality that isn't ass.

Then again they couldn't even do that with JoJo HD and that was a straight-up port of the DC version, so again, why not Chronicle?
People wanted arcade-accurate so apparently reworked roms from the PS2 Vampire Collection were the way to go.
If Backbone were the ones to handle a VSav rerelease it would've been Chronicle since they liked to work off of DC ports (see MVC2 and HDR), but it wouldn't be close to any arcade version and nobody would take it seriously. (see HDR's classic mode)

Which kinda sucks because I'd rather take being able to play any incarnation of all the characters than having an intentionally cut roster and busted shit, but whatever.

You played the wrong entry for a singleplayer experience. V should've been the way to go.

However if you can find some people to play Verdict Day with in legit squads, shit gets insanely fun. But on its own, the main campaign is pretty much a challenge tutorial. If you keep going in expecting disappointment you might as well stop, but there's a lot more to the game than you initially see. Just takes some getting used to. If you're willing to rough it up (like I have, I played Verdict Day before V and got my ass wrecked but kinda saw it coming, IRL friend taught me the overall changes), game is golden.

I just hope you didn't spend too much for it though because then I'd understand the disappointment. lol

I miss it now. ;____;

Armored Core: Verdict Day

It sounds like Armored Core.
It kinda looks like Armored Core.
It DOES NOT play like Armored Core.

Me not seeing the option to port my savedata from For Answer
Stopped right there. Your fault for skipping V. lol
Why would a new entry let you import from the past set of games if it has nothing to do with it? You could import stuff from 4 to fA because fA was just an extension to 4. It's carrying the same rules of importing save data per entry since the PS1 AC games. :V

Yeah, V and Verdict Day are different, but mostly because they're meant to be multiplayer-focused large scale entries and so it's more as if you were playing a Chromehounds sequel than a classic AC. It's different, but it's not that hard to get used to. Except if you start from Verdict Day because it expects you to know how ACV worked.

About Tharja, I gotta say her outfit as is is way too sexy for an E-rated game. Not even E 10+, just... E.
Nintendo must've really wanted to push a kid-friendly rating in the West.

Now one could argue about Palutena having uncensored pantsu, which is understandable. But I think two things make it so it managed to get through:
  • Any altering of her outfit that changes her in a noticeable fashion could outright hurt the integrity of the design team and the character's design itself.
A closed robe would cover the details they put on her legs that they worked on to be seen immediately, and inexplicably giving her pants or shorts of some kind would feel tacky and odd.

  • She didn't get the Peach/black hole treatment on her player model because it would look awkward with the way her clothes work. They did do it on her trophy model, however. Whereas Tharja's outfit mostly consists of a transparent leotard alongside golden ornaments over a black cloak and skirt, with possibly enough for some twerp to freely ogle at (as seen in the ESRB leak), you gotta work for Palutena's pantsu when playing, by either hitting her or getting hit as her. I wouldn't know about her poledance taunt though. (battery ded cant check at time of writing)
I assume these are kinda the reasons why Palutena's able to get the free sexy pass because most of it ends up being accidental, while Tharja is unquestionably sexy all over.

I haven't seen this discussed yet, but I know it's gonna come up at some point. I don't know what to make of this; Mewtwo looks kinda small.

What do you guys think?
Those were old fakes. MC2 tried to pass them off as real once over here. Start from here.
The text added to that image were counterarguments to the debunking of them. (With stuff I had pointed out)

Basically, when the roulette pops up, you can press Home and freeze the game to see where it could possibly land.
And when that happens, once you pop back in, just hold A when you're about to land on a favorable reward.

It feels so wrong yet soooo right.

Playing Intensity 9 as Bowser and abusing the Home button on roulette like I did for customs?

Online players don't seem to tech well. Side B to down tilt. Do it.
It is so fun.

Besides that, the Dorf is cool. Be sure to stay safe and space them out. You can rely on your nAir for several things.

(I wish I could play right now but I left my 3DS somewhere)
