thanks for the comments :)
im currently looking for ideas as to what sort of mugen related pop-ups to add.
feel free to suggest anything, if you have a pic of what you guys would like to see as a popup added the stage, then its even better ^_^
if you have a mugen site that you guys would like to see added as a pop-up added to the stage, feel free to say
just keep in mind i do reserve the right to make the pop-up the way i see fit depending on what will be easier/nicer looking for me to implement.

Mugen Web-browser updated to ver 0.99
still some stuff remains to be finalized but so far so good changes on this version include:
-Elecbyte page added
-Elecbyte faq page added
-Google-tan "spell check" will only appear during the google section of the stage, so you have to get the timing just right for the easter egg to show up
-Jango spyware is no longer a pop-up. its a full page browse-away from google
-URL changing code still needs to be added(sit tight on that one, it will probably be included in the final update
-ResetBg has been set to 0 so the intro doesnt loop every round anymore

YES.... that will be the first screen you will see as soon as the stage starts up....

afterwards you will be prompted if you want mugen to be your default web-browser, but dont worry.... it goes automatically to "no" and dissapears after a couple of seconds  ;P

although i did do my best to keep spamming issues on this browser, its still impossible to be a 100% protected so dont get mad if you start getting pop-ups :(

and more pop-ups....

...

I cant believe even random select is into these shady advertising practices  --;

well the elecbyte page is loading :P

wuuut...... no update, but a crappy faq? this sucks...

Jango its no longer a pop-up but a full page hi-jack!  >:(

well atleast the spell checking feature still works on it ^_^

probably one final update remains, unless people suggest more ideas. as always feedback is appreciated thanks
enjoy
P.S. link has been updated with most recent version of stage

Well, its pretty much as [E] said. I would observe quite a few threads, where people would get accused of code stealing because of similarities in the looks of the stage/character, or just because the way it was coded seemed similar. It was this kind of thing that made me a bit scared of attempting to try new things, specially when i didnt know how certain things worked back then.

if it wasnt for the change, i would have been too scared to attempt to create anything.
the problem before the old era was that there was an insane amount of tripwires, as to the point where i was scared to look for a reference
or in other words an example on how to do something. After things changed, l learned how to code rather quickly and I now can make my own stages, and memorized the inner workings of mugen for them. Im still learning on character creation, but im also getting pretty good at it.
so if you ask me if the change was a good thing.... It was good for me :)

So long story short, a nice and simple release this time around.
World Heroes 2, Russia :P
a couple of things to note about this release:
the sprites of the men on each corner of the stage are supposed to be cut off like that(it was like that when i played the game and ripped the sprites)
and the stage overall isnt as accurate as the original(original was decent but i cant replicate it perfectly in mugen for a variety of tedious technical reasons)

as always i encourage you to provide feedback(its highly aprreciated) as this stage, like always, was quite a bit of work

stage has been updated to Ver 1.2
another quick bug fix has been added.
fixed a slight glitch in one of the animations
this version should be final unless someone points out any other bug
and again feedback is appreciated
thanks

well I decided to take a break from the variable geo stages to bring to you
a World Heroes 2 stage!
i mostly did this because i learned how to rip the sprites from the game, so I figured, what the heck might as well make a stage  ;D
stage is meant to be as accurate as possible.(original stage was real good)
i tried to make it as accurate as mugen would let me.
as always feedback is appreciated as this one was also a LOT of work to make

Enjoy

stage updated with a quick bugfix
and stage is now at v1.2! with another slight fix added

when I do, I try my best. most of the stages I make is jaleco-based, so I don't get any acclaim, criticism and feedback.

same goes for me... variable geo stages dont get much love
but even if thats the case, its always suggested to try your best... after all even if you are doing it for yourself... its better if its good

seriously..... what the f*ck is this!?

but now onto more serious feedback:
read a good tutorial on stage making, and while the joke was funny the amount of unhappy pixels that have to render that attrocity is terrifying

Well here's another stage
again just like the disco stage, its not meant to be accurate(original kinda sucked on this case as well)
did the stage the way i liked it with some improvement, some add-ons and didnt do sprite abuse like the original game did
thanks go to the following people:
LegatoB:without his tool this stage would have been impossible to do
Jesuszilla: for helping me out again with the proper yscale values
Hankventure: for helping me turn some shitty sprites...well... into not so shitty sprites  ;) and doing the awesome background effect of the sign lighting on

enjoy and as always feedback is appreciated

well i worked VERY HARD to make this stage  :P
i hope you guys enjoy.
Credit and thanks goes to Jesuszilla for helping me set the proper yscale values for the shadows
and also thanks goes to HankVenture for feedback in general
The stage is not meant to be accurate like the original variable geo stage(it sucked)
so i went ahead and did my own improvements and didnt abuse the same sprites repeatedly like the original game did

enjoy and i would certainly appreciate feedback if possible as this stage was a LOT of work

well i made this one as well:

http://mugenguild.com/forumx/index.php?topic=84915.0

as for the water emulating water effects, as i said before i think that goes into inserting custom code into the characters themselves so the code triggers when they step into the water (of course that would also require to add more sprites to this stage as well which shouldnt be
problem in itself. hmm... maybe i should read up more to see if there is a way around it
as for making more stages from this game, i am going to make more.  ;)

this stage is more or less as close to the original game as i could get it.
the original version of this stage wasnt too great to begin with.
and as far as i know if i wanted to add water effects to the puddle when characters are standing there, it would go into editing code into the characters themselves, which would put the burden of adding code into the characters on the users which is way beyond the scope of making this stage (just made it for fun :P)

From what I can tell, looks like the building has a bit of color-loss. But overall looks pretty cool, downloading now.
actually there is no color loss  :)
the sprites are straight rips from the game(keeping the same amount of color depth from the original game). although the stages on the original game didnt have that much color depth to begin with

wow its been quite a bit since last time i was working oh her.
anyhow, i picked her up again and have kept working on her.

blocking, and damage states as well as all crouching states, including fixing dashing and other loads of crap have been updated on her.
also 2 intro's and 2 win poses have been added
as i progress this sure does keep getting harder and harder :P.
thanks to Jesuszilla i was able to fix a couple of messups with the required damage state sprites
progress seems to be going slow but its still progress
