NO NOT CVS.
THIS IS POTS STYLED DUDE.

Ahem...
Yes. Just because it's going to have CVS styled sprites does not mean the gameplay is CVS.
Take a look at POTS characters.

Well, I should have called it more precisely "like/near CVS style" then.
I am aware that it won't have grooves and stuff, but thats what I am totally fine with.
It's only a question of naming things anyway...

Hmm, Alot of Kula Diamonds have already been made... But I'll wait for your character, since I love Kula Clones and Kula... GOOD LUCK :sugoi:

But as far as I know, this seems to become the first decent CVS Kula. So I am very excited  :)

Hey, so I was thinking if I should add Yun's cvs moves to Master Yang? Kind of at a dilema because I don't want to over do it. What do you guys think?

I guess that would make him very similar to a Master Yun, wouldn't it?

Since this seems to be the topic of the day i though i'd also give in my opinion on MissBHavens style of play:
Although, since we only did one game (which i lost on the most stupid way possible...) and i didn't look in any of her other games, i can only judge by this one game.

I am quite sure she didn't use any type of program (if, then it would have to be such a bad one that i can easily win against it (yes, yes, i lost... but take a look at this game))
I'd say her style shows very typical patterns of a new player, who took some books at hand and learned the basics of higher-class chess (which btw. is exactly what she claimed to have done), but who, due to the lack of experience in playing, still makes a lot of blunders, doesn't see and misses still a lot of things.

So far for what i think about this, maybe i'd be a bit more careful about accusing someone of such things who really is not that impossible to fight.
A shame she left  :(

a very long and hard battle with missB, our score now 1 and 1
she is very good with that double rook thingy, and so I trade 1 with mine,
and then I successfully transgendered my pawn into the 2nd wife of my king,
then my 1st wife (feel desperate maybe) chased her king into his chamber,
and then her king moved out of the room immediately,
then my 1st wife also move out of the room again and her king surrender before get kissed by my both wives...
so there was no fan service happened there...

 o_O Where am I???
I almost forgot, deep in the madness of a mugen forum  :D

I have a hard time believing someone who just learned chess and isn't even really aware of all possible moves could have a win quote like that against all those people. On the other hand, there are so many erratic moves there.. I dunno. Either she's using a bot half the time or those moves are throwing people off more than I'd ever have expected.

I guess I should give her a try...

Here's how I interpret this game.

He started with the Polish b4, an unusual move, as it can turn very unpredictable, it can shift between a weird positioning closed game to a very sudden and violent attack game for either side.

So I played Polish with him, until he put out a Nc3 around move 7, than a Bxc3 and a bxc3, looking at his doubled pawns, i attemp to gain space and force that double to be weak.

Now its a battle for space and just see who wants to break the ice first. He has weak pawns but has a superior white bishop.

Quite a good analysis, i'd say.
I really enjoy this game, maybe because i tend to prefer the unusual  :). Not sure if your last move was a good one, though.

@Shamrock: Feel free to challenge me

And thank you all, for your interest in this match!

Well, I just looked at Bluesilver's posts, and he indeed plays Mugen. He even has a good amount of posts about mugen. It turns out Phantom-Ryu is the inactive one who never posted much. :ninja:

Thanks for your support Cybaster!

I do indeed, play Mugen, although i though i'd quit some months ago (haven't been at the chess board since then, also), but the new Mugen 1.0 got me again  ;).
I don't want to scare anyone from playing chess here, I'd rather encourage anyone to do so! At the moment, I don't even challenge, just accept who wants to compete against me.
And no, i am not untouchable, i also make mistakes and i had some very intense and interesting games here and of course, sometimes it might even happen that i lose  :).
So please allow me to play some games here from time to time, while I'm looking for all the news in the Mugen world.
