Shouldn't they take MORE memory? Anyhow, hi-res really looks better.
But there are some drawbacks also which are not fixed yet:

1. Normal (=low-res) chars look pixelated because
2. you can't use doubleres = 1,2 oder 3, you have to use 4

If this doesn't bother you, get it.

I think this is a very beautiful char, especially the spritework is great and one can see how much work was put in him, however i have to agree with NukularPower. In fact, he IS overpowered (ok, he is the master of the shotos, but shoudln't he be a fair enemy and maybe get the most strength out of his ai?), and also his effects seem too much "over the top" for me.
However, i don't want to miss this char, would you please please maybe consider releasing a toned down version of him (in power as well as in effects)?
This would be so great, as he is doubtless currently by far the best Gouken out there!
Keep up the good work!

I really like this stage! It has great atmosphere, however you should really try to fix the things Ziltama pointed out. It has just to many flaws now that prevent it from being as good as it should be.
Anyway, keep up the good work and do some updates on it, please!

I agree, the bars look great, but the portraits are much to big  o_O! Maybe even half the size would be enough?

I like this char very much, especially love the detail of all his graphics.
But is his Strangle Spark Hyper supposed to be unblockable? And the strikers sometimes seem to be, too (is there a way to switch them off anyway? I understand many people liking them, but for me it seem just too much.)

After all, great release!

My reply had nothing to do with AI. I could give less a flying fuck about AI, and so should all of you.

You can do as you wish but there certainly are a lot of people (including me) which like to play Mugen against the cpu and because of this care very much about a good, challenging and interesting AI. No offence, but i just wanted to state this.
As for the mentioned AI-patches, I will take a look at them, but nevertheless i'd always prefer an original Warusaki-AI  :).

Wow! I like it very much, more than the shadow version. The red sun creates that certain kind of atmosphere.  :sugoi:

I thougt it would be the easiest to just divide the number of slots by four, so that the space which is now used for four slots becomes only one slot. My system.def now says there are 32x38 which should be then 1216 : 4 = 304 slots (minus the space of the portraits but thats ok).
So, lets say 16 rows x 19 columns.

I guess i have to change a lot more things in this section, right?:

rows = 16;32   < already changed
columns = 19;38 < already changed
wrapping = 1
pos = 8,10   ;20
showemptyboxes = 0
moveoveremptyboxes = 0
cell.size = 8,8
cell.spacing = 0
cell.bg.anim  = 1500
cell.random.spr = 151,0
cell.random.switchtime = 4
p1.cursor.startcell = 13,12
p1.cursor.active.spr = 170,0
p1.cursor.done.spr = 171,0
p2.cursor.startcell = 14,25
portrait.offset = 0,0
portrait.scale = .30,.30
title.offset = -50,-50
title.font = 3,0,0

Less slots in select screen

Hi guys,

how can i adjust the select screen so that it has lesser (lets say as half as much) slots which then would be logically double the size. I use the EVE Battle Screenpack and know that i have to change some values in the system.def (and maybe edit some sprites, too), but if have no idea how to do this exactly.

Thanks in advance for any help!

I searched for the attack=x and y but didnt find it, i did find attack,

Thats what i meant. Like i said in the first post, with these you can only adjust the damage done and taken, but sadly it doesn't influence the chars behaviour.

In cell.cns there should be a value called "attack = xy" (normally 100) more is more damage, same with life.
