That's swell and all, but exactly what trigger would I be looking for? Var(1)?? Will it be something like trigger 1 = var(1)?? That's what I'm tryin to find.....

His AI is tweaked,but he's not any harder to beat than the original creation would be with this AI. And it's more of a Graphics upgrade for DG's Ryu (not Don Dragos), then just another insanely hard to beat character....I edited one version with an AutoParry code and a tweaked out AIR file, and the other version is just the original Ryu by DG with some CvS style FX.....

I added just the regular Ryu by DG with only graphical edits here too, but I tried to fix that bug and he kept floating off screen or crashing, I'll keep tryin and if I fix it I'll post it

To keep the Super Portrait locked behind the char I suppose, like I said I was just trying to add POTs Ryu's Hyper Portrait to Ryu by DG....if that isn't there the portrait for the Super move is just scaled wrong and doesn't look right whatsoever...I don't know too much about adding roots/vars at all...

Ok I'll check the docs THNX

I forgot to mention I added my edit in the edits and addons section if you want to take a look at him

When I comment before the && root, the message goes away...but the portrait messes up, I know it has something to do with the var(1). I basically just copied this out of POTs Ryu. I don't know much about var sets, is there any way to easily remedy this??

Whenever I do a super, the portrait will show.But the debug says "Has no Root"
Anyone know how to fix this or add a root?

Thanks, I like that idea...I just updated him a second ago (missed a couple things) and although I didn't change the letters, I made them white with a gray border to kinda match that POTs style.

A while back, I posted my first attempt
at editing DG's Ryu. I added an air-dash and some
statedef -2 codes. Well, it's been over a year now
and I've done quite a few things to him since
then.He now has an "auto-parry" system that coincides with
holding one of three directions (up, down, forward),
instead of the original hitoverride.
I also took the liberty of adding some CVS style effects.
Ryu also has a special not hit by state specifically for
Rare Akuma.
 
Don't take him too seriously
I originally made him as a "beta-tester"
Able to run through even the hardest of opponents,
and the largest of rosters.

He's extremely broken, being that his AIR file has
been tweaked to death and his common states are
at their max (excluding Life,attack,power,and defense).

I didn't ask permission, so that's why he's in the
Edits & AddOns Section.

Overall he was a fun little project, ENJOY!

Can anybody help me figure out how to make the default winmugen plus character select screen have only 60 character slots, & have the character's small portraits sized to fill the select screen?? This is giving me a headache.....I'm trying to do a heroes/villians roster but I need the hi-res/lo-res stages feature with only 60 chars...THNX

Good Morning Mugen Guild. Just wondering, what exactly would one have to do to make Kong's Pocket Fighters work properly? Is there a patch out there? Or can I just get rid of some code and presto, they're fine? If anybody knows, that'd be cool.

There is, it's just slight though and only on the Shin Shouryuu ken Close. Check the cns file. Oh and SeanDG is up now..thanks for the idea buddy

Believe me I was Laughing at Tengu not you kind sir. And the toned down version has parry, just not that hitoverride auto parry. Basically just a faster RyuDG with an air dash, a wall jump, and zoom feature on his shin shouryuu ken, and a weak state when he's at 1/4 life. ;D

LOL! That was the whole point of Hyper Ryu. He could whoop anybody! Take a chill pill Tengu, I put up a toned down version, without the parry and defence. ENJOY!!!
