I managed to pull myself away from my PS3 long enough to update Cyber Akuma.

Added double-res portrait. There's a normal size portrait at 9000,3 if you don't want to use it.
Added new sparks and effects. (Same as my recent characters)
Added envshake to all supers.
Can no longer crouch while running.
Some minor bug fixes.
Back dash can no longer be cancelled into other moves.

For the record, that running anim Fantoboy did looks horrible.  There's no sense of balance or weight and it looks like he's running on his toes or in the air.

It would make a great base for a "jumped without a parachute" anim.

I had no problem until I found out Capcom's work was being sold.

There's the hole in your logic. It ISN'T Capcom's work. The keyword here is, work. Cvs was the one who did the work, and he was paid for his work.

Seriously, do you think Capcom is going to reward you or something? Because if you have nothing to gain, your fight is pointless. And don't give me any "moral high ground" crap.

I paid someone to tattoo an Autobot symbol on my right arm. So, am I breaking the law, did the tattoo artist break the law, or does Hasbro now own my right arm?

I find the metal clanks annoying as hell, and won't be adding them.

I can't promise that any updates will be happening soon. I just picked up Tekken Tag 2 and this...

And the portrait is double-res, (240x280) If you don't use double-res portraits, you can change it.

Hi, Koldskool!
Just a little message for you.

At beginning, your work didn't touch me really. But NOW... With new effects and stuff, it's really AWESOME.

I've just a question: I enjoy when chars can attack rapidly, but when i take Iron Man, for example, i find attacks slow.
It's Normal? Or we can up the rapidity of attacks?

Sorry if my question is not appropriated.. And for my bad English.

Anyway thanks a lot again for your contribution, this is really fantastic.

Iron Man's attacks come out a bit slower than my other works, and it's intentional. The best strategy (for me) when using Iron Man is to use a mix of his Smart Bomb, Repulsor Shot, and crouching HP to keep enemies at a distance. And use a simple combo ending with Repulsor Burst to push them away when they get close.

Can´t wait for the updates.

Please Koldskool, don´t forget to add some sounds to dodge, roll and powercharge...

With Iron-Man I can´t do Air H if I press forward, intentional?

And just a head's up, here's Koldskool's to-do list:
1. Cyber Akuma update (all he needs is the new effects and a fix for the crouch while running thing. I may also give him a little damage buff.)
2. B. Jenet update (she just needs AI)
3. Captain America update (new effects, AI, bug fixes) *THIS WON'T HAPPEN IF BUCKUS RELEASES HIS CAP!*
4. Begin work on L. Raptor/Zabel
5. :hugoi:

Any help/contributions are appreciated, be they palettes, portraits, or whatever. Everyone who contributes gets credit. It also means less work for me, which leads to faster updates/releases.

Spider-Man got a small update. Get him in the first post.

I fixed some small bugs and gave him a new super portrait. The other one is still in the .sff if you want to change it back to the MvC1 art.

The only other Marvel character I plan to do is Wolverine. I'm waiting for the color separated sprites to be finished. I have other WIPs in the meantime. I'm not saying that I'll never do another Marvel character, but I'm not promising anything.

After taking the results of the poll into consideration, this is what I've decided about Captain America:
I'm going to update Cyber Akuma and B. Jenet first. If by then, Buckus still has not released his Cap, I will update mine.

Added AI.
Repulsor Shot projectile now has a hit animation.
Proton Cannon beam sound stops playing when Iron Man is hit out of it.

Angel also updated with small portraits by Hades.  She now has several small portraits to choose from.

I'm pretty sure this is the source image NoZ used for it.
I think it's fitting considering that she's evil. The eye changes color depending on the palette selected.
But, I might add this one as an option.

Fixed Standing MP infinite.
Realigned beam on Proton Cannon.
Proton Cannon no longer does 500+ damage up close.

I'll give him AI sometime tomorrow. I don't have time to code it before work.

It seems wrong that Angel's Loyalty Test for Liberalists doesn't connect fully when the enemy's in the air.

Also, I just realized something: GOOD GOD, HER SMALL PORTRAIT IS SCARY!

She's meant to have a Capcom feel, and Cody's Final Destruction doesn't fully connect on airborne opponents either. Though I may change it so that the level 2 version will work.
Scary how? I like it.
