really just cape and chain moves....too much necro attacks already....this will be a cool update!
Rather than chains being special moves, could they just be an extension of his basic strikes?

im so happppppppppppyyyyyyyyyyy u guys are digging spawn. and Empawk, im feelin ur custom sprites! chain sprites are needed more if anything.
I will work on them. Thanks for letting me join this project.

I will be adding cape, chain and necroplasm attacks. If anyone wants to see anything specific implemented, let me know. I will be spriting. :)

Are you capable of spriting anything original for this Spawn character? By this question, I mean, do you plan to do some custom animations? Regardless if you can or can't, I am a fan of Spawn and would like to help with this project. Please let me know if you need any help. I can make sprites and portraits. You can find me at multiple Mugen sites, but my mainstay is at Crusader Cast.

I like the work you have done with this character so far, except for the comedic relief. I am guessing that is your sense of humor. Please keep up the overall progress. I look forward to this character being released.

I've been wanting to expand the sprite sheet of SNES Spawn for a while, but I didn't have a coder. I you want to team up, we can add in the missing moves from Soul Calibur 2 and Spawn: Armageddon.

I think maybe the right arm shouldn't swing up so much, but other than that it looks fine
I agree with the right arm thing, but don't lower it too much. He is supposed to be effeminate and the animations have been nearly perfect so far. Don't let these homophobes tell you it's wrong. Frieza is Frieza and you got to keep it Frieza to make sure he remains himself.

I didn't say your animations were not smooth. I said you would find a way to make them smoother. You always improve your work with time. You did it for me and I'm sure you will do it for Ram. You've been a big help with Zero and I feel that you'll make a big difference in this project as well.

I agree that X looks like he's smiling when he jumps, but that is because I drew the same expression for my X and it turned out giving me the same impression. The whole impression of a smile is canon for his jump. However, I feel that I will revamp mine to look a bit more serious in the face.

While it's nice to think I am pretty good with smooth animations, I suggest not relying much on me revamping animations, considering I already have things to work on and don't have that much of free time.

he not smiling man his mouth just opens wide like his megaman X4,5,6 sprites which is no problem man, it nothing to even worry about, idk why everyone nit picking smalls things for. sorry im sounding harsh in any way.
I don't know about the reasons of the others, but I am nitpicking to make sure that this X becomes ideal. That is the purpose of critiques. I'm sure Ram doesn't mind as long as remain constructive and specific. He resprited Zero a lot of times. So little bits and pieces on X will be a piece of cake for him and his other team members.

The light blue parts of his upper legs are too short, possibly by 2-3 pixels. Zoom in and you'll see what I'm talking about. Smoothness seems fine to me, but I'm sure GTF will find ways to make it even smoother. ^_^

Was anyone able to rip voices from that game? They would likely be pretty useful for this X character (probably for Zero as well).
