Thanks, but I'll be releasing multiple palettes when the character for him to be more appealing to the Mugen community, rather than just myself. Also, let me remind people that there will be more than one version of my X released.

Don't redo your spritesheet just for the colors man. It doesn't really because once he becomes a playable char, you can apply palettes.
It would be a shame to redo your stuff JUST for recoloring purposes.
I'm trying to make a palette for these unsatisfied people. XD

I appreciate the warning and advice, though...thanks. Do you like how he looks with smaller hips, larger arms and thinner legs?

It's actually an edit of some pixel art I used to do back in 2008

Well it was a recolor of an 8 bit sprite, I just edited the colors to fit the colors in this X
Basically an edit of an edit :)
Fair enough, you got me and Karasai beat. I sgall put yoin the credits soon.

Well the last one was a revamp done by me, but the good news is that I want the best portraits that I can get. I'll have to wait on feedvlback before I kniw which one is better. I personally like youre better.

Press z, z, z: Rapid Fire Buster Shot
Hold z (some seconds worth of time): Charge Buster
Press z (release quickly): Diagonal Buster Shot
Hold Forward+z: Forward Buster Shot
Hold Back+z: Vertical Buster Shot
F, F, z: Dash Buster Shot
F, F, y: Dash Medium Punch
F, F, x: Dash Light Punch
B, B, z: Backward Dash Buster Shot

Press x: Light Punch (Press X again to perform another light punch with other hand)

It took a while, but I think I finally got a decent idea for the controls, concerning X's multple angle buster shots:

Multiple Angle Buster Shots:
Press Z: Diagonal Up Buster Shot
Hold Forward+Z: Forward Buster Shot
Hold Back+Z: Vertical Buster Shot

Charge Buster:
Hold Z (2-3 seconds and it begins charging the buster): Charge Buster
Press Z: Release charged buster shot

changed the nose too, because it looked odd

The following are ideas for X Armor Hyper Combos:

Dragon Claw has a super/hyper combo where he jumps onto the wall and performs a flying crash, like a Nova Strike. I think imitating the same hyper combo with X wearing the Ultimate Armor would be appropriate for my X.

For a grapple hyper combo, I was thinking that the Gaia (sp?) armor could be be worn and he would perform a dash grab, probably a shining fingers grapple to the face of his opponent, drag them to the corner, sort of like Rugal of King of Fighters, smash them against the wall and then perform the Data Destroyer (is that the right name for that green energy attack?) When he performs the Data Destroyer, it can look bigger, sort of like Chun Li's hyper combo with that energy orb attack where energy surrounds her body.

For the Shadow Armor, perhaps doing something similar to Bovery23/Black Chaos's Strider Hiryu hyper would be cool. Like the one where he gets his opponent into the air and then performs multiple jumping slashes.

For the Falcon Armor, maybe a hyper combo into the air with mutliple projectiles falling from the sky would work. I forgot what it's called. The energy projectiles were blue, I think. (Sorry, it's been years since I've played the PS2 X games.)

For the X1 Armor, the hyper combo from Street Fighter Vs Tekken, except with the X1 charged blast at the end.

I have asked Ramzaneko if he would like to take a shot at spriting these, because he said that he is an expert on what the armors look like and his Maverick Hunter Zero WIP looks great. So I would like to leave this work to him unless he turns it down.

Noo, that's not the one I'm speaking of. But it does only have about 100 something sprites in this version. I expect 200-300 to fit in for a character that's more MVCish. I found a few of megaman's armor sprites in his SFF. I'll see what I can do for you, mate. I actually found him in a "Found releases" thread either here, or at IMT. (I don't really go there much)

He's called Maverick Hunter X. I got him on a japanese site long back. He has a broken Pallete and few sprites. I don't have him anymore, but if I were you, I probably wouldn't find anything in him useful, aside his voice if that's what you wanted.
Did you watch the video in the link? He had way more than a few sprites, had specials, basics, stances, hypers, etc. I don't care for the voice at all, but I do want the character. This X seems really cool to me. I'd really appreciate it if someone would send me him. Who made the Maverick Hunter X that you mentioned?

The one you're talking about seems to fit the description of Shazzo's Megaman X, which wasn't sprited anywhere near as good as this one. I don't know if there were updates done since, but I feel they aren't the same one.

Does anyone know who made the Megaman X from that video?
