I have a problem running brokenmugen on mugen 1.0 RC8. The intro loads up and then when it gets to the menu screen it just freezes..everytime. The music however still plays but the screen is frozen..whats wrong? I even read the readme that came with the screen pack, nothing worked so far.

Like Asura going trough the enemy,leaving him stunned and then fade to black and all the hits?

Or Asura going trough the enemy,leaving him stunned and then : fade to black, the enemy in the middle and Rugal and Akuma siluetthes on the sides hitting him.

I like that idea..

edit: i like this char :) but...

The timing is a little of when he says "die one thousand fists" when hes doing the animation before the sgs.
he needs his asura zenkuu (teleport)...it just doesn't feel like gouki without it :(

anyways it is a good character and i hope you make him the best you can..gl :)

dont know if this has been reported but you can cancel some supers/specials by doing a crouching strong kick....even in mid air.

there are orders you put beside the characters name in the select.def. You can order them from 1-10. Bosses usually go last which is 8,9,10. And the people you want to fight first is order 1.

this is how you should set up your characters in select.def:

myfirstcharacter, stages/examplestage.def, order=1 = your first character.
mybosscharacter, stages/mybosstage.def, order=10 = your boss character.

if you have multiple characters with order=5 or order=10 a random character will be chosen from that order to face you.

now for this part:

;Here you set the maximum number of matches to fight before game ends
 ;in Arcade Mode. The first number is the number of matches against
 ;characters with order=1, followed by order=2 and order=3 respectively.
 ;For example, for 4,3,1 you will fight up to 4 randomly-picked
 ;characters who have order=1, followed by 3 with order=2 and 1 with
 ;order=3.
arcade.maxmatches = 10,1,1,0,0,0,0,0,0,0

those numbers (10,1,1,0,0,0,0,0,0,0)
are how many times you fight people in that order

arcade.maxmatches = 10,1,1,0,0,0,0,0,0,0
                       order  1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10

I'm thinking for the god end just make the ending of it like how it is in his intro with gouki. Throwing him to the other side of the screen instead of him blasting upwards.

Does it fix the problem where mp3 files play at the wrong frequency if there not 44100kHz?

Finished the basic attacks (standing, crouching and jumping).

Gonna start up with the specials in these days. Except for the Reppuken which I already made :P.

What about G. Rugal eyes and hand colour separation?
That should be great, I had done some frames - the basics only.
I'd love to do that AND also separate the colors from his shirt and hair. Unfortunately, I don't know how to make the color separation thing :(. So unless someone gives me a tutorial or does it for me, there won't be  ;P.

Actually, I'd prefer it to be less cheap and more balanced.
And yes, the idea at least is to add some stuff.
God Rugal's current metagame is fine IMO. Just give him his Rugal spin. NAO
I never liked the Dead End Screamer much despite liking Rugal, but I figure that move could be improved looks-wise if it involved more obvious Gato-like neck-snapping and less actual silly spinning. With Gouki's killer intent thin going on, I'd figure he'd go for the blunt, brutal approach.
I'll definetely add that move that Omega Rugal had where he rushes past you and hits you X times.
Dunno about the Dead End Screamer, IMO, Rugal looks...stupid doing that. Maybe I'll think of something that looks good enough.
