I admit that it's old in the sense that it was seen some time ago but was silent and recorded on a camera, but this is the recently uploaded video file of the intro with clear sound and music. ;D

Most Tekken 6 vids on youtube are pretty crappy quality, I could hear nothing but people giggling or mashing arcade buttons, and the frame rate of the videos blow! >:(

This is the most relative topic I found for this question...

I was wondering if there's a way to make Order Sol's tension bar never decrease. Help? ;D

It's the other way around for me. My low-res mugen screws up way more than my hi-res mugen does despite both of them having the extra plugins in the plugins folder that someone promised would fix all music problems...anyway, mugen and hi-res mugen will screw up with mp3s at one point no matter what, so the best thing to do is get some plugins that will ease the problem a bit.

You just have to search for the topic where the plugins are...I'm too lazy to find it. :-X

People complaining about Devil Jin and Jin truly don't know what the fuck they're talking about.

They're totally different characters that contribute hugely to the game, maybe not story-wise but gameplay-wise. Jin is a Jin that spent 2 years forgetting his Mishima ways and learning traditional Karate; with gameplay never seen before in a Mishima-style character. Jin has attacks that only a Jin player will know what to do and when to do them. That is awesome, in my opinion, and he's a challenging character to pick up and try to be successful with.

Most of the time with Jin you'll be running uphill since he is no way in the fact that you can spam this or spam that to win matches; Jin puts mind games, patience, execution, reflexes, spacing and fundamentals to the table like no other Mishima. How you implement them is how you play your Jin and how you play to win with him. He is not rushing in and throwing out electrics and hoping for a win, sure you could try that and you might throw some people off at times, but for the long term if you keep trying to play like this you will lose HORRIBLY to some of the better players. Jin lacks offense, and his best offense is effectively his defense. He lacks good lows. He lacks attacks that leaves Jin in a frame advantage. To play Jin you need to have certain qualities in your playstyle that no other player with another character will have. That's simply how cool Jin is in his latest incarnation.

Devil Jin is classic Jin. Whoever remembers the good days of Tekken 3 and Tekken Tag will know who the coolest character was back then. It was Jin and that is not disputable. Top tier material, versatile movelist, arguably one of the funnest characters to play with because of such a wide and extensive movelist to put to use. However, what happened in Tekken 4? Where are my juggling hellsweeps? Where are my 1+4s? Where is my b+4? Where are my electric launchers? WHERE IS JIN? There were potential experts giving up Tekken rather than picking up Tekken during Tekken 4. But when all seemed hopeless; Devil Jin brought all these classic Jin qualities back to the playing field.

So stop and think before you compare Jin+Devil Jin to shitty clones like Eddy+Christie.

Very true. Nonetheless however Christie and Eddy aren't exactly clones gamplay-wise like I said. They're about 90% identical in terms of their moves. Right now I just know that all of their grabs are different.

Eddy and Tiger are 100% identical.

Azazel obviously ate Jinpachi and true Ogre. Bob the rest of the cast who isn't returning >.>

I lol'd ;D

And yeah, I doubt Azazel will be playable...and yet I don't. Who knows what Namco will decide to do with the boss THIS time around...

I mean, they did make Heihachi and Ogre playable in previous installments. :-\

Not to mention I don't see the fecking point in making certain characters not playable even outside of tournaments. That just upsets fans. --;

And for the record, Ogre in Devil Within was much larger than Azazel, who is by the way a cool boss. Ice monster ftw. :sugoi:

Have you guys seen the arcade intro? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=koHPHDYm-Hg

Anyway, you can lower their AI by opening the AI.cns file and modifying the first varset, setting the value to 1 imstead of 5.
I personnally set it to 11, to have an awesome challenge when I use Shin Gouki and fight them as final boss.

I thought the AI was a .def file. --;

Also considering this, what's the point of the difficulty modes in options?

What I found a bit outrageous and funny is that after getting hit 20 or so times in the air and then getting up from the floor, I'm unable to even go into a blocking state against the attack that hits me as soon as I get on my feet. ;P

It's as if the only time I get an attack in is when they're not fighting seriously.

But I take back my statement that it is impossible to beat them (talking about picking Order Sol against them) I'll practice more nonetheless..

Just figured it could only work if the opponent is close enough and gets hit by the power up..the sequence is (after the first hit) z,s,x,a,q,s,x, and then the hit after that is another super leading to the black dragon final hit...and I know it's not just the press of one key.

Justice and Millia Rage, as well as nearly every guilty gear character is a royal pain to beat. Not once have I ever defeated Justice, Millia Rage, Eddie and some others. It ain't like you could do shit to them because they hardly give you the opportunity to do anything. I once got angry and picked God Orochi on their asses (he easily solos teams of them). ;P

You just gotta pick a really powerful fighter against them. That or I think there's a way to lower their AI.

The supers are half-circle back-->forward+hard slash and half-circle back-->forward+punch. Dragon install is half-circle back-->forward+slash I believe, though I'm not sure.

:D

Sweet I figured out how to do two of them (with each one having 3 different versions depending on the power gauge...) though I'm going to try to change the command in the command file...if I find it.

I was wondering how to do the one where he does like a 10-hit combo (not an air combo but a super) on the character. It's the last thing Sol does against Orochi Ken in this vid: http://www.livevideo.com/video/B86A5DB2E54147E4A449A323A8D89049/holy-order-sol-vs-orochi-ken.aspx

Works exactly like mine...

Sh!t..for a couple of times I've pulled off some supers..but I can NEVER figure out how to actually do them...I don't think I've ever had this much trouble finding out the commands for moves that I can do through button mashing. :-\

And yeah, that CMD file helps for sh*t guys, it doesn't help, honestly.

Jeez, I missed Amachi's Order Sol... I didn't know if it was out or not.

So we *don't* use the same Order Sol, although I'd like to try Amachi's out if I could find it.

And that would bring the total number of OSols to 3.

Can you tell me where you got your Order Sol from?

Try to do it faster? I always find that to be a problem. And may I enquire on where you got Order Sol?

Do what faster, I don't even know how to do the moves and the command script still seems to be some bs..the commands don't work for either Sol (the regular one and the one from holding start) and I kept in mind that b = middle kick and c = strong punch and so on. I am on my way to email the guy who made that video I linked to in my first post...

I got Order Sol from here: http://www.geocities.jp/amachi_h/

I know how to read the CMD file..it's just that most of the commands seem to be bs...I try to do them and they produce nothing...and some of the keys for the commands (like b,y,c, etc.) don't even work on mugen (y is a taunt..) but after button-mashing for 2 minutes I performed a super...and no matter what I can't figure how to do it...and I've done it only once or twice before.

This sucks. >:(

It didn't come with a CMD file...
That is impossible. All mugen characters have a CMD file that defines the input of all the commands inside the charactes. And by all, I mean every single one of them.

It should look something like Order_Sol.CMD, you must open it with notepad.

That helped me just as much as the readme file did...oh boy...

Does anyone here use Order Sol in their mugen and know how to do the supers like the one shown in the picture in the first post? I'll just start with that question.
