Each one is organized by game and genre.

I have a ton because I have a habit of liking too many things.
Ditto.  ;D

Played it very safe? No my man - to put it simply those songs happen to be phenomenal... and LYRICALLY phenomenal.
Those artists paved a fine road into Hiphop that many artists wish to meet/surpass today.
They're legends in their own regard.

Saying they're your favorite is like saying your favorite band is the Beatles/Metallica.
Or saying your favorite character on Mugen is POT's Ryu/Shin Gouki.

Spoiler: These are a few vital points (click to see content)

Not bad actually.
Before I was really into Hiphop, many of the authors and songs you mentioned I regarded as the greatest.  I even considered Jay-Z to be among the greatest despite hearing his radio plays alone.

I'm not taking anything away from your favs but many songs you listed were pretty plain and you played it very safe by naming Tupac, Biggie and Eminem.

I think that there was just much, much more competition this year.
Basara, Sean, Rajaa and Divine literally bust their asses last year with all of their quality releases.

I'm very excited to see who brings home the gold.

Kendrick Lamar responded courteously to the text that Macklemore sent via the Grammys.
I'm glad Kendrick is being a good sport about this situation.

Fans on the net created a faux response to Macklemore which they feel are more accurate to how Kendrick feels about the situation.

IMO, the text comes off ignorant and unnecessary to me.  There's some truth to it but it's so exaggerated and over the top that it insults Macklemore as a person and a artist.

What do you all think?

And to be honest, Jay's lyrics aren't too much to marvel at himself, in ANY era.  If you wanna talk about serious lyrical content, the least you could mention is Lupe or Andre 3000.
My man :D
*Gives a high five*

My god, lol. Lil kids and their love of Kendrick Lamar.

Great songs/choruses, but he is a terrible lyricist. Garbage.
His lyrics are terrible?  Terrible as in how?
It's difficult to respond to this because artists can be terrible lyrically in many ways (delivery, technical flow, lyrics, energy, etc.).
Honestly I didn't care for Kendrick at one time.  He's still not one of my top or favorite emcees but I will not deny his talent.
I mostly didn't care for him because I felt his music was too mainstream.

there's the fact that the guys who pick the grammys do not really recognize or have any kind of experience with the genre. All that, AND Macklemore panders to the media by making a song that stands for gay rights, which is a genius idea honestly.
Hiphop and Pop have always been pretty divided cultures.  Pop being a more upfront and as you mentioned, commercialized genre, is usually more noticed and viewed than Hiphop.  Because of this, it has always been difficult to push the genre to an event such as the Grammys.

There's also the race card that people pull out but idk if that's truly a factor anymore at this point in the grammys in particular especially after Michael Jackson.
Michael Jackson is not a factor when it comes to the Grammys, Nominations or Hiphop.  Michael Jackson was a Pop superstar and as I stated earlier, the Grammys pretty much runs on Pop music.  I don't believe 100% that race has to do with the Grammys either.  However, I do believe that the Grammys has a problem with the overall culture that Hiphop is composed of.

That said, everyone knows that Kendrick had the best album of those nominated and Macklemore is barely even allowed to be considered rap.
I believe that Macklemore is Hiphop and I wouldn't sell him short of that.  His productions, lyrics and overall style is Hiphop.
Only his topics differ from other emcees...

But yea, Kendrick Lamar should've had that shit.

Yea, it more than likely is.
Stunt or not, I still believe Kendrick deserved the Grammy.
Macklemore's a great emcee and he tackled issues other artists are seemingly afraid to tackle.  However, when it comes down to who had the better album or who the better emcee is, Kendrick definitely takes the cake.

I'm thinking he didn't win because of the content within his songs?
Even then, most of his songs actually carry a legitimate message within them.  I don't know... the Grammys have always pissed me off because powerful Hiphop artists have ALWAYS been overlooked.  It's infuriating to think about.

My feedback is based off of Oxe's video:
- IMO the pokemon in the bg could have some motion (especially since the ones in the foreground are bouncing up and down)
- The clouds in the sky could have anim as well

Tbh, this stage has great potential and I think more could be done with this.
You should try playing with other perspectives, floors and transparencies.

Slenderman has massive potential as a character and most certainly shouldn't be intentionally cheap.

Definitely looking forward to the winner of this poll.
