Alternativaly, NEVER EVER forget to save the renders before indexing, for future use in Mugen 1.1, where you'll be able to use PNG images in 24/32 bits directly.

When that happens is when I will return to making stuff for mugen. I have one last hoorah in making full CvS ports for this screenpack for a guy on youtube and I will release them here.

I'm having a problem with the lifebar ports though, I can't index the pink so it shows up when in play.

Made a new Felicia Select Port, also figured that it was the effects that you were supposed to transfer over from the Ryu port in the template that caused the white pixels. I discovered this after fixing up Rainbow Mika's render from the strays it had before indexing. So it would be wise to just recreate the effects yourself instead of moving them from port to port.

@ELECTR0: Yeah it may look a little better but those stray pixels will still stick out and the stroke that the ports require will make it show even more. 


This is my Mr. Jones Render before indexing, everything is just fine and dandy, not loose pixels or anything in particular, but when I index it all those stray grey/white pixels appear, well I could take the time to fix this, I would have to do it for each and everyone one of those and I'm the type of person that when there is a big load on my plate, to try and get everything done as quick as possible with  minimal errors. Now say if I was to actually do maybe 3-4 ports at a time, then I'd probably do the best ports of my life. Its all in the mind frame.

I wasn't angry at all, just that on face value you really can't see the blues at all, I had to magnify the port to 300% to even see it, so yeah, I'll fix it and if it helps I'd like to get some input on the others one because you said that most of them suffer from colorloss and I'd like to know which ones so I don't end up redoing all of them, I'm not looking forward to spending upwards of 6 hours on some ports that didn't need to be fixed in the first place all because I'm paranoid about them. If you had an IM or something it would better to talk there about them.

@Saikoro: Alright I see what you are saying with the Mr. Jones port after a close inspection and I guess once I go back to make the lifebar ports I'll fix it, but the Heavy D' port, thats from his KOF 98 image. That was unavoidable. You can look at the base image and still see the blues there. Sometimes you just have to live with it, not everything can be made into HD. And please don't question my work ethic, this took me 4 hours, 4 long hours. Also, I wasn't the one that made the renders, I just used them. I've already gotten enough flack from you over the last time I released ports with renders I made.

You are not the only one. In my case it was caused by Vselect.
Open your select.def and see if you have arcade.maxmatches and team.maxmatches.
If you are using Vselect too, then your stages should have also disappeared from select.def

You make it sound as I had outright just bashed the dude which is false. All I said was that Dafont, is probably safer as there are some websites like the one he posted that could give someone a virus. Stop with your white knighting when clearly there was no need for it in the first place.

I realize this whole thing kind of lost steam with the announcement that the current forum look may not be final.  When it picks back up tho, here is a great font site for anyone looking for some new / interesting fonts to use: http://www.1001freefonts.com/

Dafont.com is usually the best one and besides, anything with the word "free" in the url is probably not a good idea to go to.
