OK I fixed the clsn's at the tatsumaki super and alligned the shinkuu hadouken (you're the first person to avoid confusing it with the shin hadouken O.o)...

Anyhow, here's why the third bug you mentioned occurs:

I didn't know how to make the shinkuu hadouken unhittable any other way... so yeah... the shinkuu hadouken you launch is, in fact a red fireball with no clsn's whatsoever (that's right, no blue, no green, no red boxes). Once it gets near enough to the enemy (x <= 10), it spits out a shinkuu hadouken WITH red hitboxes and disappears at the same time. This was all done because I thought it was ridiculous for such a strong fireball to be destroyed with a simple little beam or whatever. If I'm not mistaken, there is, however, a way to actually give the helpers health... I might ask around about that, POTS might know about it for example.

And btw, he rammed himself AND scorpion into it, knocking both out at the same time.

Anyhow, any opinions about the AI?

From a gameplay standpoint, what new stuff did Ryu even do in MKvsSF2 and 3? Fireball variations, and a Raging Demon. And he ran up a wall. Well, the only *new* attack Ryu had was grabbing Scorpion and ramming themselves into a slow fireball.

I'd like to point out here that you're right, indeed, ryu uses the same moves as in sf3, but he combines them and makes a new way of fighting. You can't do those things in sf3, but you can actually pull them off in this character. For example, you can throw oponents into a slow and powerful hadouken, you can actually cancel punching and kicking into throwing moves, etc etc etc. The whole purpose of this character is to incarnate him into MUGEN and hopefully, maybe even start something new, like evil, shin, orochi, etc did.

Reu, thank you for your efforts of bringing us free entertainment and joy. The significantly positive mark you left in the MUGEN community is not to be forgotten. I wish I could talk about your personallity, but I never got the chance to meet you, sadly... but I can safely say you were a nice guy from what I can read here.

With all that said, rest in peace. :'(

That's some good feedback TempesT. It may go to waste though.

I don't think ESFAndy011 is even registered here.

I beg to differ. ;)

I'm not good with giving contructive criticism of Mugen characters, not being well versed in coding.

But I can say that this Ryu feels pretty clunky and cumbersome to use.

Sorry dude, mind explaining why? Is it the combos? If so, all you need is some patience, practice, and syncing. You'll get the hang of it eventually.

And @ TempesT: I posted a response to your crits at mugen-infantry, where my Ryu release thread is. I gotta say though, I didn't appreciate the "dumb" and "stupid" parts, you could've been a bit more sutil, but I guess you got the freedom of speech here.
