Approaching relationships the wrong way. Simply be yourself, and then find someone who does the same. Only after these conditions are met, the rest comes down to compatibility and building trust. This stereotype is both tired and dubious in its accuracy in portraying such things.
It is not so much that women like assholes or vice versa, but rather, you usually see this kind of interaction within younger couples, consisting of one or more members of the party who don't stick to one thing (i.e. being nice sometimes, other times having mood swings, mental and personality illness notwithstanding).
Thinking about it too much is what hurts relationships. Getting caught in limerence (the idea of looking beyond one's obvious, problematic shortcomings due to infatuation) causes people, especially young people to pander themselves to the other person. This explains why it may appear some individuals are willing to put up with what seems like complete assholes. In reality, they're always changing up their personality and behavior to best suit the other person, and sometimes that wears people down. Regardless of gender.
But that's my theory.

Sorry, but you did a few HORRIBLE edits of Shingo. There's not much to praise here dude. Especially since you're (apparently, or so the topic title would suggest), converting characters from a FIRST PERSON SHOOTER game into MUGEN. What's your goal? Purpose? Etc? Give a little more info than just "here's sprites for l4d mugen k bye".
As for the ban, he shouldn't get punished just because he didn't sugarcoat anything.
EDIT: That video is absolutely horrible...I can't see the framerate at all, and the audio doesn't help.

anita is a boring and dull design in comparison to other darkstalker characters, so it's really not worth the effort to make her a full character.
That's exactly what makes her a good design among the VS cast -- contrast. She's plain, but the fact that she IS plain makes her stand out.
Plus she's one of the few humans in the VS series.

Well...the jagged edges are a big turnoff, and it looks really cartoony. Doesn't go well with the character in question here.

Cute, using a "PM a mod" line. The only thing that takes any time to do is the parallax and is about it. Hell on the Jyahana stage you had goofy looking slithery rain and PI lightning that didn't fit, and you got those from alternative sources. The two "hardest" things you had to do were the parallax and the lightning. The lightning being on a background controller was probably all of Tamez's idea and work anyway. So time to produce a conversion with premade effects, fairly minimal. The fact that you spent little time on it bleeds through on the final product. I'm not saying don't make a WIP thread, I'm saying if make one make it for something that actually requires more than a minimal amount of effort. It's almost on par with the Sonic compilations. 
No offense, but it seemed to me like he wasn't trying to be sarcastic or anything, he was just trying to avoid antagonizing anyone. The work involved really shouldn't matter as long as the final product looks good. Screenshots here look pretty good to me...
