This doesn't combo like yours. Its combos are more in non-Morrigan CVS2 parameters. So yes it's a terrible idea for this Rasetsumaru.

Man did you read my post or what? I clearly said that I know that. I know it his combos are more in non-Morrigan CVS2 parameters. Come on now man, Its not like your talking to a noob at coding here. I merely said what I did on mine for him to get an idea on what he could do. I never said he had to do it exactly how i did it.

Clearly, because he knows how to code he can take the stipulation off. Its an easy fix for someone who has coding skills like Chazz. But other than that stipulation its a good idea.

I just made it where in my Rasesumaru that move gives him a temporary attack boost but the thing about it is, it only does the attack boost if your doing combos. Its not for one hit. And also the there is a risk of getting hit while doing it because of start up time.

But if you do pull it off, it will take some of your health but your damage will increase at a reasonable rate that's worth it. But like I said, you have to do combos for it to be work.

So I don't know if you find that more fair but it worked for me.
That is honestly a terrible idea. It's not enough that you're cutting your own life but you don't even get the attack boost benefit on trade because of the unneeded combo condition. Not to mention it doesn't help his good pokes either. It really reduces Rasetsumaru's threat factor in rage mode which made the life reduction worth it in some cases.

Well that's just your opinion as others who have played with him like the idea. I just suggested it to Chazz since he was trying to figure it out. Don't just say something is terrible because you don't agree with it.

Yeah I did nerf it up so that you have to combo to do it, but also because of the dampener. It still works out well in the end, but it's not terrible at all.

I merely stated the combo thing because mine has chain combos in it. MY suggestion didn't mean for him to do it exactly the way I did it. He could still change things around. and maybe leave the combo stipulation off.

That's not really the same. There is a difference as to requesting a commission that your actually going to pay for, than just coming in the thread telling me what you would want.

It's sorta like a wish list thing. and once 1 person starts then here comes everybody saying what they wish was made or what would be nice and I dont want my thread turning into that at all.

I don't mind comments on how good my stuff is or about the current character once revealed, but please no suggestions, wish list or what you would like to be made.

PM only if your serious about commissioning me to do a char for you. Posting what you wish to be made is not the same as requesting a commission.


Not trying to be a jerk or anything, I just want my thread to stay clear of that kind of thing. But yeah, i must admit spiderman would be nice

I think it would be nice (for your own "business", even if that's not the correct term, and for exposure) for you to post what exactly your commissions are about, and copy-paste the info on the 1st page. ;)

So basically :
How does asking a commission for you goes ?
With 80$, what do I get ?
Do you code only in Infinite/R@ce style ?
In Winmugen/Mugen 1.0/ Mugen 1.1 ?
Do you need the sprites to already be ripped (spritepacks by JustNoPoint for example) ? Or does one need to give you a ready-to-use SFF ?
Is color separation included in the 80$ ?
Is AI included in the 80$ ?
Can I have several voice sets from SFZ3, CVS2 and SF4 ?
All long does the commission usually take to be released ?
Who already commissioned you ? Were they satisfied ? Videos and links of commissioned chars ?
Do I ask in this topic or via PM only ?
Do I pay upfront, or half now, half when released, or only when released ?

PS : I'm not asking all these questions as a potential commissioner. I'm just asking them for anybody who'd basically be interested in commissioning you for a character, and who wouldn't know where to start.


And i already did do this on previous posts if you go back I posted what all you can get. Its not a business, its just a way to get some cash from time to time that's it.

First thing someone has to do is just send me a PM tho. But only if they are interested. Because there is no way for them to see this all the time, unless i put it in my Sig and im not doing that lol

So far everyone who has had a character done by me has been satisfied a ten fold and then some. Just ask them

As I stated before, I don't do any kind of stipulations. Its only stuff in the current play style I'm doing (CVS-ish/Pots/Infinite) and that's it. All that other stuff is not really needed that much as people pretty much know what all my stuff has in it.

I don't do color separation but if someone else does it then I will try to use it if possible.

Ok guys listen up. My computer had an issue awhile back and it sorta set me back on some commissions but I'm good now because the computer was fixed shortly after that.

Been working my ass off to make these characters play well and keep things up to date. With that said I wanted the ones still waiting on their commissions to be completed to kno that I'm getting near the end with them. So bear with me as you all have stated that you wanted me to take my time as well. Not rush. This equals good characters, as I think so far I've been doing pretty well.

I also got a pm from others saying to me that they love my stuff yet they didn't have money to commission me to do anything and that kinda hit home to me. You I don't want people to think I only make characters for money because as you guys should know, I released 2 chars that no one commissioned me for, but took some time to make : Rasetsumaru and Mickey Rogers.

With that said, I getting near the end of my first batch of commissioned characters and I was in the need for some more extra money.

Now, last time I charged 50 US Dollars a char because I was just starting out and I really needed some extra money, like now, and I wasn't thinking on how much time it would be invested in these chars.

Well as it turns out, a lot of time is invested, in these chars, so much till it takes up a lot of my time, and it seems like for it to still be worth doing, I might need a little more money.

So with that said,  I will be changing the price to about 80 bucks. Now if you compare that to other stuff that's out there being commissioned, that's still not bad at all. But with the time it takes me to do these and the quality that comes with them, I think that is still reasonable

If anyone is interested please let me know and as always I will make them only in the current style I'm doing, "MY WAY" with "NO STIPULATIONS"

Make sure you give them both combo like hyper moves as all of the SVK characters have the same like set up

Supermoves that have this combination F,D,DF, 2 punches or F,D,DF, 2 Kicks are usually combo hypers (bunches of punches and kicks of some kind)

Its either one of the other.

Level 1 moves vary, some have like 3 to 4 or maybe even more depending on who it is your playing with or what you decided to come up with

There are always 2 level hypers, and also 3 level 3 hypers with one of them being a DM, something you can nly do when your life is low.

Also you need to go into one of the SVK characters and see how the A.I. is with the chain combos so when the A.I. is fighting, they will pull the chain combos off like you want.

I'm not going to stop giving you feedback and advice until you have got this style of gameplay down packed as It would be nice if someone else besides me and Infinite knows how it should work

maybe he can try recoding the move differently?

OR maybe the move is coded correctly and there seems to be some issue on his end. Because I have not run into this bug at all.


Don't know if I'm late or not, but hope you don't mind if I give out a few (actually very few) feedback on your Mickey. They're probably minor, though:

-Using EX Burning Upper (Or in this case Rolling Upper) as a combo starter resets the combo counter when you follow it up with other moves after a wall-bounce. (Ex: EX Rolling Upper -> either Combination A, B, C, or D)

-Using either Super Burning Upper and Super Burning Upper Max as a combo starter also resets the combo counter when you follow it up with other moves after it wall-bounces (Ex: Super Burning Upper/Super Burning Upper Max -> Rising Uppercut)

-Max Rush Bomber plays both the lvl 1 Super startup sound and lvl 2 Super startup sound at the same time.

That's all I have.

I tried everything to fix this but I cant seem to figure out what it is so just please ignore it until I can get some help with what's causing that to happen

-Fixed bug with missing animations on animation 10 and 12
-I may have fixed the crash issue with the special move "Combination" Works fine on my end
-Fixed bug with Rising Uppercut FX having an invalid Animelem

-Fixed Palette issue with fighting the A.I. while having the same character
-Fixed Pal FX issue on hitdefs

Updates For All Chars
-Fixed palette issue with the A.I. choosing the same color all the time
-Tweaked it so that now while the ground and air chain combos are turned on, crouching hard punch does not launch them into the air during custom combo mode

Updates For Marco Rodriguez
-Changed guard sound for all projectiles
-Adjusted the damage on all of his super moves to be more balanced as they should be. Now his damage is more fitting
-Tweaked a good amount of his palettes to have the same color of his FX that he originally had in Garou
-Changed default Palette to be more CVS-looking
-Changed Palette Selector Anim to current one in newer chars
-Changed animation for the Palette Selector in the air file
-Added all of his Palettes to his palette folder
-Made it so that he can now link his Haoh Shokoken to more supermoves.
-Made it so that he can now cancel his Ko'ouken into supermoves and also while in custom combo mode
-Fixed it so that his Kohou FX disappears like it should between statedef changes during supermoves and custom combo
-Added a new Max version of Kyokugen Shin Sen
