I don't know about you guys, but I'm real excited about the DLC Costume possibilies and ready to fork over all the cash Capcom wants for them! Anyway, I decided to post this here to see what other people are thinking about.

I have only ever seen people automatically assume Jill will be either S.T.A.R.S., Tube Top and Skirt, or even B.S.A.A. but I'm thinking no way since this is crazy brainwashed looney tune Jill. I imagine she'll just throw on the rest of her fancy-pants 'Bird Woman' mask and cloak gear and call it a day.

I didn't list this above, but what about alternate reality Deadpool, Lady Deadpool from Deadpool Corps as an alternate costume for him? It would be ridiculous, but if M.O.D.O.K. can be a hot tranny mess, so can Deadpool! ;)

Titiln is absolutely... correct. Storm and Magneto are popular characters, in and out of Marvel vs. Capcom 2. If anything, I'd say Storm would have found her way in this game regardless of what she was like in the last game because of her status as a pop culture icon. lol If Marrow was God tier in MvC2, she wouldn't be back now. lol

I really don't understand this notion by most people that the returning broken God tier would come back exactly as they were before. Storm seems really different to me somehow. Anyway, history has proven for the most part that when upgrades to old games come out, broken shit gets fixed. Not left in. I guess only time will tell.

Believe it or not, there is no shortage of characters not from Street Fighter, Resident Evil and Mega Man represented.

Oh, and I heard a rumor that some of the Marvel characters have been around since at least the 60s! I know that makes me dripping wet! lol

Also, I know that it's easy standing from the outside to say Pit's appearance in SSBB has sparked some 'new popularity' in the franchise and that's the reason he's having a new game coming out.
However, these games are planned out years in advance and there has been enough evidence circulating out there that suggests they've been trying to resurrect the franchise in some way for years. SSBB just came along at the right time...

...and quite frankly Nintendo was running out of other failed, forgotten and niche franchises to not have to go diving back into the Mario, Pokemon and Zelda well. lol

Oh, and the new Kid Icarus game will tank because gamers will prove once again that despite all of their kicking and screaming that they will never support anything with dollars. They'll leave it up to the rest of us normal people who buy quality games like Street Fighter IV and Resident Evil 5. :)

Niche? What niche? (At least) 5 million sales, and I am being very conservative with that number, between SF4 and SSF4 is hardly what anyone would call a niche game. Maybe you can call those other shitty 2D sprites fighting games like BlazBlue that can barely sell 'niche'.

And you know what? The pre-launch variety argument is so full of shit. Everyone knows good and well that they're going to dump their so-called favorite characters after all this pre-launch hype so fast once they see that they fucking suck and there's other broken characters that will give them better chances to win every single time.

SSBB had 12 Nintendo franchises represented. Spread out over 31 Nintendo characters. (I am not counting Game&Watch, ROB, Sonic and Snake) Sounds like some series were probably way over represented! Whores! However, in it's defense, SSBB was also the third game in the franchise and has numerous recycled assets. Good ol' copy and paste.

MvC3, so far, has 10 Capcom franchises officially announced. Spread out over 14 Capcom characters. Wow... how awful! lol There are four extra overexposed sluts in this game so far! lol Anyway, the game also has a complete graphical and gameplay overhaul with recycled assets being impossible because they can't re-use polygons that don't pre-exist.

I'd say they're doing a pretty good fucking job making sure popular SF and RE characters are getting in while failed experiments such as Amaterasu, New Design Spencer and deceased and forgotten characters such as Viewtiful Joe and Arthur are also getting a new chance to shine.

Oh, and I'll leave you with this. Out of the 12 Nintendo franchises. Only 3 of them were doing nothing at the time of it's launch. Capcom has 5 out of 10 stagnant franchises represented. Capcom are such fucking bastards forgetting about their old series, huh?

Super Street Fighter IV is not a game for children. In fact, it's rated T for a Teen (and up!) audience. Do you know what you can get away with in a T rated game? You can get away with big, round, beautiful and bouncy Mai Shiranui breasts that flop around everywhere. And in a few instances, out and proud homosexual male characters that so want to fuck the male lead that they don't know what to do with themselves.

Poison being transgendered, or transexual (or biological woman by birth. You know, whatever gamers these days are brainwashing themselves to believe so they can feel better from beating their dicks over her.) is really nothing.

Also, grow up, Poison is a her. It's how she (or in this case, her creators) presents herself to the world and that's how she should be adressed.

I was actually really surprised when a friend of mine was telling me that Super Skrull was definitely that big-armed silhouette. The first thing that came to my mind was that it was a quick and easy way to get rid of four Fantastic Four character slots and roll them up into one. lol

Oh, and to all of you bitching and complaining about the Morrigan and Felicia fanservice. Boo hoo, no one wants Jon Talbain or Demitri but you. lol Yeah, I know, it's a sad state of affairs, but it's the way it is. lol

By that, I mean the nostalgia goggles were put on way too tight.

As for the game itself, if you looked past its somewhat glaring (at times) flaws, it was just a very fast-paced Lost Planet-type game with smooth action, and the multi was pretty fucking fun.

People majorly regret bashing the game now because "NO CLASSIC NO BUY" being the sole reason to not buy the damn game was a major factor of GRIN's shutdown. Yeah, the idea that hardcore circlejerks made a company close its doors isn't really something good to hear.
That is a shame and even though I think a good portion of the video game-buying public are a bunch of hive-mind mouth-breathers, I really can't blame them on contributing to this game's failure and let me tell you why.

I think that it was a really bad idea to unearth a "classic" and "beloved" franchise like Bionic Commando after a million years and make certain things so different that it would turn off the audience who loved the first game and the audience who only pretended to love/play it and only say they do because being different is for saps. I had a feeling the whole thing would be in serious trouble after I saw the protagonist.

It's a shame that GRIN had to shut down because of it. Losing your job blows.
