Sweet, I love the series and I thought the game had very good sprites, even if the gameplay was junk. So really, it's a positive that you took the good (sprites), and discarded the bad (gameplay) from the original game.

I would offer some constructive criticism, but the link is down so I can't actually download the character.

Looks like an excellent addition to Mugen, good work. Don't mind the whiners' criticisms, they're just sour that you didn't follow their made up rules.

Why use the phrase "made up rules" if all rules are made up?

By made-rules, I mean this "Don't use other people's sprites!" It's not against the rules to use other's people's sprites. I guess the distinction of made-up rules and real rules is that there are consequences for breaking the real ones.
Someone needs to speak up for mugen's silent majority, which is to say the people who just enjoy characters and don't care about using other's sprites or coding without permission. We just want to play with some fun characters. Most people who just download and play don't post, so they are somewhat invisible in the community. I am their self-appointed advocate.

The only advice I can give is that you should tone it down a little. Even if you want the character to be a boss, he should still be reasonably beatable.

Also, go ahead and use Reu's sprites if you want to. It's not against the rules, despite what these not so fine fellows might have you think.

Pay no mind to the haters. This is an excellent release. It's like downloading all the characters and stages seperately, but completely superior. I hope to see more of the same from you in the future.

Great release! I like it when all the chars and stages I want are available in one big download, it's very convenient.

I like characters that are playable, and have the basic feel of their original selves. I don't really care about perfect accuracy, but Dan shouldn't be as powerful as Ryu, for instance. Dan should be a bit weaker than the average character. That's about it.

Nice release. Glad to see you're not going to play by some made-up rules. If you don't like the character, don't download it, it's that simple.

Besides, it's fun to leak things.

Leaks kill projects. Meaning when you leak something, there's a very good chance that will be the last update you will ever see of it.

That sounds good to you? Denying yourself and others good stuff because you have to behave like a brat about something? There aren't any trumpets of praise, no glorious thank yous. All you did was cause more crap, and in a week you'll be lucky if anyone even remembers you beyond "some stupid kid that leaked shit".

Great job, here's your sign.

Ha, good. I would think it was pretty funny if he did take his ball and go home. In fact, wanting to see the drama as he tries to figure out which of his trusted group of friends leaked the character, and possibly seeing people Bawwwww if he cancels his crappy project is half the reason I did this.

And just were the fuck did you get the idea that Gouketsu is a thief, punk?

Well, his Goku and Cell are Choujin's.

@insanitarium You really shouldn't have done this, especially not this way. If you had told people how to do this for themselves at least they would have to go to the creators site and download the game to be able to get the character so the creator isn't entirely cut out of the loop. I hope that the creator here will not stop this project because of the one person (you) who leaked their creation. It is not often we actually get to write directly to a leaker so I hope you don't mind if I take advantage of this opportunity. There are a lot of reasons to leak (trying to be a big shot, spite, stupidity, etc.) none of them good however. I will give you the benefit of the doubt that there wasn't any malice involved in your decision to do this. Just take a second to look at the responses in this thread, not too many of them are positive and the people who didn't care enough to respond odds are they don't like you much either. There really isn't any true benefit to leaking other people’s creations. I hope you learn from this.

I'm going to post the full rar of his latest game build Sunday night, lol. That way people can get all the characters, stages, and music. I'm just leaking to cause trouble and support my fellow leechers. The reason most people didn't say anything is because they downloaded and moved on. That's just how Mugen is, and if not I hope to make it that way. Plus, I think Drama is hilarious.

You released somebody else's pre-alpha. NOBODY GIVES A FLYING FUCK ABOUT PRE-ALPHAS, NUMBNUTS!
Ah, insomniac vitriol. The question is, will I regret it in the morning...?

No need to get angry, lol. Even if it isn't the best character, 248 people so far have thought it was worth a download. So I guess someone gives a "flying fuck." No need to get butthurt about it, if you don't like it you don't have to download it. Quite a few people did like it, so I guess this topic was worth making. Besides, it's fun to leak things.

It might not be the best character but now that it's out at least people can give it a try. Besides, maybe someone else can use these sprites for something better. I got the whole thing ripped open so when I get on high speed again monday i'll probably toss up some of his other stuff, which is mostly stolen anyway (Now it's ALL stolen lol!). Still, I haven't seen Arale around or Don Patch or those two old people.

This is from the anime mugen chaps. There's no honor among thieves, and pretty much all of their characters were stolen. So I cracked open that molebox  of theirs and tore this character out by his hair. Here you go!

It was a quick update and much better than nothing, so I don't see why people are complaining. If the hitboxes are a huge problem I'll edit them myself or have my friend do it.

I say think of it like a dj. He makes a remix and puts it online or in stores in his country. Another DJ who can't do shit use's his remix and claims it as his own.

That might be a decent analogy for stealing code, but in my experience very few leakers claim characters for their own. Also, we'd have to assume the DJ wasn't selling it, since Mugen Creators never profit.

Let's say someone asks you a book for a minute. "Sure, here". If you took the time to say "you'll give it back right after you're done with it", that's a strategy, alright. And now, do you do that absolutely everytime someone asks you to pass him the salt ? Yeah, I didn't think so.
The salt example is stupid and you know it. Don't come talking with shitty examples of that kind.

I personally liked my painting example  --;

Imagine you are a painter.
When you are about half way finished with a painting, you ask someone to come look at it.
That person then grabs the painting off the canvas, runs out of the studio, and the sells your unfinished painting as a finished product.

This is a flawed analogy. In the case of the painting, the artist (not to call Mugen creators artists), is losing his creation. In the mugen world, nothing is actually lost. The creator still has his copy, and the thief isn't going to sell it.

I don't care about the creator's wishes. I'm distributing Rario as we speak. If the guy isn't making stuff anymore, who cares? When the carton of orange juice is empty, you don't put it in the refrigerator, you throw it in the trash because you've already gotten everything out of it.

Same with private characters. If they aren't going to release it, don't post screenshots of it. It's fine to make private characters, but rude and obnoxious to taunt people over them.

The truth is obvious about the mugen community, noone actually cares about creators. They just pay lip service to hating warehouses and leaks because they're afraid of these emos taking their ball and going home. Honestly, if you just wait around and don't put up with their crap then eventually they'll learn that not everyone is going to stroke their egos just because they put out Kooky Ryu or Krazy Peter Griffin.

I'm not trolling. Mugen creators are a pretty worthless, emo lot. They can be easily replaced. Any retard with any skill at programming can make an arcade perfect character.

Well basically yeah, I suppose any healthy human could make a arcade perfect character.

However, it takes effort. And not everyone can bring up enough motivation to go through with it (the amount of required effort varies with the intelligence of people, too), plus everyone's got to start somewhere - to produce a 100% accurate character, you need a lot of know-how which you can't get in one day, and few are willing to invest that much of their time.

That does make them in no way worthless though, that's just you trolling. Asshole.

The problem is they pour effort into various retarded characters. For all the versions of Goku using sprites from the SNES games, not once has anyone actually made a character that plays remotely like the ones from those very games. I apologize, I might just be mad at bad creators.

The only reason people even like certain guys is because half the creators are too stupid to even do that. Oh yeah, and you want to worship them for making Hyper Evil Ken version #9836.
