I did notice that problem. Didn't want to say because it was the only thing that looked a bit better on mine!
If you were to make the gap between cells 1 or 0 how many more columns and rows could you fit in?

Hmmmm...don't really know, but at a glance I'd say probably about 15 to 30 more slots if I reduced it to 0, I currently have the spacing set to 1 in that pic.

If you guys notice the preview pic I posted earlier you'll see that the selection slots are not transparent, but solid black...This issue has now been fixed to make the interior of the slots transparent so you can see the sparks in the background. :sugoi:

Still waiting for Ziltama's reply to the email I sent him...I'll keep you guys posted.

Why do you need space for 500+ chars?
I mean, no sane person needs so damn many chars :P

I respect your opinion Anjel, but did it ever occur to you some people(me for example) want to have all their 500+ characters at their disposal in the same place without the need of various MUGEN games? Well, this is for them...and I were really insane I would be in captivity or on a killing spree ;P

I also made my own edits. I can hold 594 characters. Yours does look very nice MaxBeta. Better looking than mine I reckon.

Well thank you...yours is not bad at all mrsteve81. I simply shrunk a few sprites from the original system.sff file down to 25% and added them to the sff file with their own numeric values. Then I tweaked the system.def file to these new values and x,y coordinates and presto. Anyone with a few smarts up their sleeve could do it.

Hey Guys!

All in good time...I've finally completed my first contribution to Ziltama's wonderful Screenpack and to Mugen perse.
Now I can access 675 character slots on the fly! All I need now is Ziltama's permission and I'll upload it for everybody's delightment. Enjoy the Preview Pic for now. ;)...Oh and again, thank you Ziltama for such a Wonderful, Simple & Clean Screenpack like Coruscation!

This is my current Screenpack of choice, now that my Broken Mugen Hi-res hack got annoyingly laggy....Thank you Ziltama!!
Your hard work in contributions is always appreciated.

BTW, I'm working on a motif for this screenpack that allows you to hold more characters....I needed to do it for myself cause I just have too many to mention ;P...I'll share it later with the community with Ziltama's permission. I won't mention how many character slots it holds, yet...but I'm keeping in mind not to mess up the beauty Ziltama has accomplished in the select screen visuals. I have some exams this week before I can get back to getting this done, but I'll keep you guys posted.

*AHEM* I've been ripping the PSP stage sprites of this game on my spare time for the last 3 months...I almost have the complete set of "DAY" stages ready...I would need someone with the knowledge of stage coding to bring them to life...And yes, it looks like they altered the PSP pixels of this character to appear "slimmer and taller" in form, cuz the PSP game is 480X272 Widescreen format all the way, as opposed from the sprites in the actual game, seen in the website provided by 9999...so they come out a bit stretched out and blurry as opposed to the 1:1 resolution modes in other fighters available on the PSP, like Darkstalkers Chaos Tower, Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX and Guilty Gear XX Judgement. Why they forgot to include 1:1 resolution for this game still baffles me>:(...else the sprites would be much easier to rip without neccesary alteration of the pixels.

This is an example of a sprite rip for this game on the PSP(doubled up to size) so you could see how tricky it is to clean up sprites around the borders.(notice transparency pixelations)

Well, it's been quite a while since he last posted on this thread and I asked nicely...I also know my way around the PSP sdk pretty well since I've been on the PSP homebrew scene since it started, made a few PSP hombrew myself, so I could volunteer to make a port and beta test it for him. You should quit name calling and do us all a favor and fuck-off.

Could you at least release the Beta that you play on that video, since you've already released a beta for the PC version. That, or even better...port the latest PC beta onto the PSP sdk. I'd be glad to test it out for you since I currently do have a lot of spare time.
