Its looking good,..  i wonder where the gothic part comes in, cause it kinda had a gothic touch to it since the very beginning.

Would be nice to see kitana with a new outfit.  ;D  I can imagine myself playing with these girls.  ::)

Well, can't remember who was asking for a download link? But all I can say is it's about 5% done, I have no help and I on the verge of being self employed so progress may be slow? But as progress goes on I may make I five character release as version 0.1, and then add updates in patch form but this is just an idea.

Hello People,

you may or may not of seen my project called Mortal Kombat: Gothica.

What I need from some people is pallets for the characters.

So, uh, how are you going to tell the ninjas apart if they all raided Noob Saibot's wardrobe?
by the name and moves of course.

Of course; but in actual gameplay you could essentially have two identical ninjas trying to kill each other with identical basic moves. The necessity of using special moves not to actually hurt your opponent, but to rediscover which one is the opponent, may wear thin after a while.

The Ninjas will have Different pallets but not the same as UMK3


Does anyone want to help with Pallets?

Presenting my new project Mortal Kombat: Gothica


This is the BETA main menu, the background scrolls towards the left, there are things to be added and things to be moved.


Nightwolf VS Nightwolf, he has new pallet to match the Gothic theme.


Scorpion VS Nightwolf, you may or may not like scorpions new pallet, but it's here to stay! There are also some pallet errors with scorpion, if anyone wants to fix them please let us know here. Thanks.

Features:

- Makes use of the MK:Projects Engine 4.1
- Makes use of the Broken Mugen sound Engine
- Broken Mugen sound plugins
- Brand new screen pack made from scratch
- New and darker pallets for characters
- Custom life bars made by me
- Heavy metal music from Painkiller and other games
- New levels or edited levels by me!
- New characters such as Inferno from MK:Bloodstorm

You should not be allowing movement in the intro then. If you need that, you need to allow control or something in the system.def, or was it the fight.def. The position reset is based on roundstate 1 completing.

Nope it was none of this, for anyone wanting to know it's zoffset in the stage.def

E.G. GGothica.def = Open = Search for "zoffset "

Am making a few levels for my project and I was wondering, how can you position P1 & P2?

Can't find anything in the code to move them expect for

[PlayerInfo]
p1startx = -80
p1starty = 0
p1startz = 0
p1facing = 1

p2startx = 80
p2starty = 0
p2startz = 0
p2facing = -1

leftbound  = -1000
rightbound = 1000
topbound  =  0
botbound  =  0

And this does nothing except for position P1 & P2 where I want them before the round starts and when you move you go back the the default location.

Any help would be great,

From the VS games, it is used to get up, and roll toward your opponent, or out of the way. In any case, you will make it more difficult for the opponent to hit you while you are down.

To begin, we first put the following code in the CMD:

Probably recovery roll. Thats more of a vs standard though.

How much do you know so far? I'm certainly not going to just give you the code for it.

Am learning as I am going along, if you send the code in a .txt document remember to add your name there and you will be in the credits of the game, if you can't help me, looks like am going to have to rip it for a sf char and give that person credit. This will take me long but oh well, if you can't share your code thats ok.

Alright folks,

Am currently developing a project which I wish not to discuss here, but I need some help with one thing. How do you add a roll to a character like in street fighter?

Requires FORWARD roll and BACKWARD roll.

Any help with code and help to implement the code to the character would be helpful, thanks.

Yet, another MK game, not related to MKP. -_-
This board should be deleted until MKP 5 comes.
Why does this board have to deal with "Official" MKP games?  Why can't the fans make whatever the hell they want?  Who are you anyway, the MUGEN police?

My mind's bananas as to figuring out if this board is still dedicated to the MKP, MK projects in general or a waste station of abstract craziness. I'm siding with instinct: if this project has nothing to do with the MKP project then it doesn't belong in this child board. I'm not really sure where the rest of the staff is regarding this board but, until some clear answers come in I'm moving this topic. gmod/admin, move it back if you think I'm wrong....just explain why (confused with what this board is really about).

Well if you read, it's my mortal kombat game based of MKP4.1!

not bad ... all the chars seem to be there. Are you gonna alter then at all to suit mkbs combo system ?? .. maybe add in all the cool graphics along with it ?

OMFG! Can you send them to me? I've been looking for Scorpion's "GET THE FUCK OVER HERE!" and "GET OVER HERE BITCH"! But I want it this way if I add them to Scorp: 1st spear throw: GTFOH

If you want me to help , I can give you the voice pack of MKSM's announcer ( The one MK Blood Storm use ) that I ripped just 2 days ago ( I'll include Scorpions GTFOH and GOHB speech as well :P ) . I would really like to see gameplay though by video :) .
