Whats up dude?

Im still testing him. I will have more input. But I thought I would throw some things out there. Keep in mind that I havenet played 2002 UM. So if I tell you something that contradicts it... just ignore me. I am comparing to previous itterations of Takuma.

:D Sprites. Solid, Correct, No bugs found.
:D Sounds. Excellent choices and work. Didnt hear a single issue with SFX or voice.
  :D 2002 UM partraits
  :D Character Portraits.

??? "Best around" ? From The Karate Kid movie dude? LULZ and all but..... If you were going to take a moment to not be serious with the character you might as well add the extra thing that he needs. ....
..... ...................... Another HSDM.............. A Full Life Raging Demon thing that makes nasty bone cracking noises and finishes off with the Segata Sanshiro Theme Song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RlndLQwlcbQ&feature=related

LOL, I think I might make a Segata Character now.....

:(- Oniguruma (F + LP) Only does knock down from a airborne character? I recall it always dropping people to the ground. Not only that it put them down long enough to hit with a Keima Uchi (DF+LK)
:(-No Kohou (Dragon Punch) type move. I dunno if he has one or not in 2002 UM but he does in a few games in the past? I know for certain Mr. Karate does..

Solid Character. Excellent Job.

+Keima Uchi (DF+LK) I missed this in later KOF games. Glad you gave it back to him.  :)
-Cannot connect a Zanretsuken after a Hien Shippukyaku (Both)  :( There is time for one more extra hit after a HK version but the start up lag does not allow for the Zanretsuken to slip within the time frame. (More popup please?)

Still playing and testing. More feedback soon.

Can someone explain to me how to download GM's characters?

I know I have done it in the past but something tells me I am missing something....

GM usually has Like.... 2 or 3 character files. Then He has up to like 8 snd. files.
What the hell am I supposed to do?

I naturally figured "Oh.... I just am downloading sections!" So I download each one.... then extract them into one folder. Right?

Aparently I am wrong. Every time I have done this I am always writing over files. Telling my comp to replace files.... etc etc.

Recently i've been trying to get Alex, Ibuki and Elena..... Everytime I click on any files it says I am downloading something ...but I never get anything. WTF?

I am obviously doing something wrong.

Bah, Horse Manure.  >:(

Standing LK > MK > HK ..........Rocks.  >:D

This kind of simple chain comboing should be in Capcom's games. They work in KOF.....

Im having fun discovering all the things that link. Just Cuz you are getting beat by it doesnt mean its stupid.

Rajaa,

This is going to sound rude at first but hear me out.  :sugoi: (peace)

I have always been very frustrated. I love 2D fighting games. I am a tournament level SF player and I have always been disturbed by the fact that there was no decent Dhalsim. I consider Dhalsim one of the original Great 8 characters that created the Fighting game Genre. Whith that said, I naturally love MUGEN. I have always been pretty grumpy about the lack of a "good" dhalsim. Well, at least a CvS Level Dhalsim. I started to learn to create. I have started with my own original character... but I swore that I would eventually make a Dhalsim!

I tried your last Dhalsim version, and I'll be completely honest with you. I hated it. I really, really hated it. I think I hated it because there was a lack of a "Accurate" CvS Dhalsim. I don't mind it when people create characters and put in their own spins and Ideas for upgrading them. I just hate it when talented creators do it when there is no attempt at an "accurate" one first.

Of course this is just my opinion. I know there are people out there that disagree with me and thats cool. Rajaa, I consider you in the top 5 of the best Mugen creators. Thats the truth. But, I hated your older Dhalsims.

Now, As long winded as that was I want you to calm down  :sugoi: (Peace)

I love this new Dhalsim. He isn't perfect yet.... (I think you know that and plan to update) but The current version of him is very impressive. My Idea if I was going to make a Dhalsim, was going to simply give him all CvS2 stuff and add a Focus and a Yoga Catastrophe. (Basically give him a few SFIV stuff)

This Dhalsim is such a huge improvement from the last one... that I compare it to playing tuned instrument vs a pile of "post it" notes.
Thats How much I think you have improved.

You have turned your biggest critic into your favorite character player. Keep up the good work. Im gonna go figure out new ways to trap P.o.T.s characters in corners with flailing rubbery arms and fire.

Yo, sup friends?

So I am looking for some SFIII characters. I got pretty much everyone..... But I tired to get GM's Alex, Elena and Ibuki. But appearantly they are down. His site doesnt SAY they are down... but if you click on any of the files and try to download anything you get a fake download of air...... its super weird.

So does anyone know any other good Alex, Elena or Ibuki? or does anyone know another place where I can get GM's? :P

Im not sure but at one time I heard that hit sparks can be set in Mugen itself.

Is there a way to change the hitsparks so that every character has the same ones?
Well, without having to go into each character and changing it?
If it is possible, is there a guide anywhere to show how?

If not possible is there a simple way to do it for each character?
Is there a guide anywhere specifiacally for this?

I already downloaded some CVS2 Hitsparks.

After I have resized some characters in the CNS file a few of them have their Y-Axis lower or higher. Is this just a simple side effect I need to deal with or is there a place in the CNS that I have overlooked to correct the hight to my liking? Or is it perhaps not even in the CNS and I need to look elsewhere to alter it?

Yo, WTF is going on in that stage?

Does is stay cramped like that?  :2thumbsup: (It doesnt)

Is it animated?  :2thumbsup: (It is.) Does is open up kinda like the Kyogenryu dojo in KOF95?
I would have just downloaded it and found out for myself but the link you provided leads to gibberish.

I cannot find uprar2161, when I go to other pages they are blank.

*sigh* It would have been better if you instructed people to just click on the [ALL] so it shows all files.
Its hella way down there.

Also, the download comes with a "omake" folder full of Wave sounds that apparently have something to do with the stage. I guess Ill have to dick around with it and figure out where to put it. (If it even works)

It is kind of funny that there is so much hypothetical talk going on, yet to my knowledge no-one has created a panel for mugen at any con. I wonder why.

Which con would you suggest it? San Diego Comic Con? Otakon? an anime Convention? A gaming convention like E3? Well, E3 wouldnt actually work.

Even if that weren't the case, I wonder what would the actual Electybe people would think of it were they to appear, anonymous as they are...

You know, I was actually thinking about that myself. If there was ever a reason to drag these people from anonymity.... A Mugen convention might actually be the thing to pull it off. Did it ever get resolved whether Elecbyte was a person or multiple people? I always assumed it was multiple people.

Imagine getting on the elevator to go to ground level and the dude standing next to you has a badge that says: GUEST, ELECBYTE.

That reminds me of a story. Back in 1995 I was at Project A-kon in Dallas. I woke up in a hurry to join my friends for breakfast in the lobby. I got on the elevator and to my surprise the guy in there with me was Carl Macek. Man, I wanted to punch his face in so bad. For those of you who dont know who Carl Macek is... Hes the Guy that Americanized Macross and a few other shows into Robotech in the ealry 80's.... He may be considered one of the all time people responsible for Anime in America....that or RUINING Anime in America... depending on how you look at it. By the way...he was kind of an asshole.

^Well, I can clearly see that somebody gets along.  :sugoi:

But in all seriousness.. and .. not to sound like a dreamer, but I think MUGEN and 2D fighting games are a language that we all speak. I have faith in humanity and logic enough to believe that a small group of people that work hard and spend countless hours to create for MUGEN and expect little to no thanks, can get along in a ball room. We'd be surrounded by peers and have a topic that we all love that is unique to us.

Regardless of stupid shit we posted in the past on a forum I think the intellegent people would be the ones to show up.
