I don't think Freeza grows that much during the giggle (and I have already trimmed him down before posting this) but I'll see if I can improve it further.

Also, here is an extended menacing giggle/taunt as thought of by Daeron:


look at the knees and then you probably see what I mean :)

I really like that stuff :)

only slight constructive feedback I can give is that Freeza could slightly be decreased by height when giggling, now it looks like he is growing ;)
(maybe just remove 2-5 pixels under the knees)

Let's not forget that for a full game, it's possible to have some custom stuff going on for lifebars.

We can have custom portraits if needed.
Another thing I've always loved was the interaction portraits in Dragon Ball Legends on Saturn : the portraits would change whether you're in idle state, attack or gethit.

If I remember right, LadyKiki, had all of them ripped years ago back in zgteam times plus made all the existing ones too, could be some good reference.

I like where these lifebars are going. :)
Also, any plans for a little screenpack at some time ? Not necessarily something as complicated as the one from the trailer, but something displaying

I made these mock ups ages ago for Neocide






the namek stage in the background is the stage select, also this is a mock up I did for IMT megaman game --> they later used the coding concept for their xmen game I guess.

While I really like Daeron's work, the lifebars still seem to be too big in height for me,

Something I collected and made as a reference for my DBZ Mod.

You might be able to have good use too ;)



on another note the sprite seems to have some weird lightning going on. some parts are lightened from the up right while some are lightened from the far left.

before actually spending more time on this finishing the animation - do you guys think that this is the stance we should go for?

considering that there would be a lot of editing to make it work towards walk and all the other existing sprites probably?

btw. what is the game title?

I do logos for companies worldwide as a graphic freelancer, so I could make some logos for the game that somebody then maybe pixelates if wanted ;)
