just a fast photoshop cut and move edit to show what is all crooked with the animation. the stray pixels arund feet/legs can be edited easily, but going over each animation is probably a horribly boring work to do...

what I dont get with armentis' sprites is why he doesnt use the same parts over and over again. basically you could sprite the upperbody and the part of the belt as one part, the arms are added on top, legs are animated seperatly and then placed on top of part too, and face is placed on top too when doing the animations --> all on different layers so at least these jumps dont happen.

Great work as usual from you two guys!

Seeing Electro being revived like this makes me wish Hobgoblin and Wucash would return to finish their nearly finished Spiderman game!

Also I think you could improve this animation a bit by having his arms in the right frames bounce the same as in the left frames.

great work Tsao-Ri:) now it looks perfect! I really like how you did the blur!

do you mind me helping you go over some other animations you posted? like the headbutt for example. You have great animation skills but there is still some small things that can be improved easily, just like the one animation I just showed you. Some of your animation lack the impact - Diepod and Balthazar are very good at it and are a great reference to learn from.

aligned the head in a frame and removed one frame in order achieve more speed.

walk --> face needs to be turned to right a bit at some point, and I think the arms in the back are too big ;)

Sure, how much would such a thing cost though, purchasing the DBZ licence? Like a million billion dollars?
I'm not familiar with those kind of things.

They got the licence for example. I dont know about it either, but seeing that this very very famous game will be continued by fans with the licence makes me want to believe that it might be possible to get the licence for your game as well, defining it for example as a sequel to SB, HD or DragonballZ (for Arcade). While it all might sound like dreaming, doing some research in that matter wont hurt I think :)

It might sound stupid and probably also depends on how much sprites are also based on existing animations, but did you guys ever think about actually purchasing the Dragonball licence for this?- generating money over kickstarter then would cause no problem. There are some kickstarters where the teams actually purchased quite famous licences in order to make their project happen.

If you'd make a kickstarter you could have goals be certain more characters - like Muten Roshi from DB for example.

I don't see the positive side when one of the most active Mugen boards around, where people who share the same hobby as you guys do, is down. Also, on a slightly different note, it is weird, at least in my opinion, to take something from someone (in this case sprites) and then to badmouth the creators. You credited them, but without their effort you wouldn't be able to create Deadpool in the first place - so asking them for permission (I know this was/is pretty a common gesture in other boards) wouldn't have been much of an effort to you anyways.

I'm not involved with IMT, nor MFG or any other Mugen board, as I'm just a fan of "Indie" gaming I would say. I never got these issues different boards seem to have w/ each other as a small community (such as MUGEN fans) could work together to improve.

yes. for unknown reasons, this is the third person on frieza I lost, so from here on out I'm gonna just do more work myself. so the game might move a bit slower now. if anyone actually cares

that's a shame. he always seemed to be a pretty reliable person, as well as a spriter who even goes the extra mile to achieve a better result.

nevertheless: keep on moving! you know they all come and go, but you will stay at making dragonball sheets forever :P :D :)
