BTW, regarding the charging, I would also add that by going the MvC route, it would be impossible for keyboard players to move around, as a keyboard doesn't accept more than three button presses at a time.
Depends on the keyboard I guess, mine doesn't allow more than three "character" keys at a time, but allows you to hold three of those plus up to three arrows at the same time for example.

Btw, I hope you won't make her movelist just a different bunch of projectiles. :S

What move do you mean? hcb + K ( which is called 427 Shiki: Hikigane and i completely different move) from KOF 2000-2002 or hcb+K from 96-98 (which has the same name but a completely different move to me too)?

A reversal move. It can reverse high normal and special attacks. The followed move is grab and explode, which is SCancelable into Orochinagi (used MI2 as reference for that).

Strong version of this move is its classical version. During run and attack he is invincible to low pokes (kicks mostly). Kyo says: "Makka ni moero!", which means "Burn in deep red (flames)!". Explode is SCancelable into Orochinagi.
Not sure about turning the weak one into a reversal, his movelist is so huge already that adding such extra functions to existing moves could just confuse the player, making it hard to choose what to use when.

Another suggestion, how about cancelling Orochi Nagi's charging animation into a taunt like in MI2? That was cool and doesn't need sprite edits.

As you might know this move pretty much sucked back at KOF 99. It was never used again. However, I want to tune this move to the point it becomes useful  :wink3:
Didn't suck IMO, and it basically just received a different animation in the next games (several other tweaks as well yeah, but the basics were kept). It's nice that you're using, it's actually one of his coolest specials IMO.
Btw, planning to somehow use any of his other hcb+k moves?

Both options are either too early or too late into the move to be useful/fair IMO. For the dash version you posted, I mean, the short range version could have it.

I wonder how weird it'd look if her Zero Suit self used true sprites rather than a 3D model. Would be more feasible, I guess, issue is just that it might look weird.
Personaly, that wouldn't bother me as long as the sprites were nice, because her suit and suit-less versions are so different already that the differences in sprite style wouldn't be so apparent.

And I don't know if it was asked already, but are you going for high res or frame count?

Also, random suggestion, if you use lo-res sprites could you make those green stripes on the armor's chest slightly bigger? 'Cause I think they're a neat detail that could go unnoticed given the sprite's nature.

Pictures suggest that Capcom's just the publisher, and those actually making it are just the Arc System Works folks. Probably obvious already, just pointing it out.

Loving the backgrounds, always preferred hi-res 2D over 3D ones.

Judging only by those clips, I vote for MI2.

I also finally read the story you made up for him. I always thought Saisyu was dead since KoF95 :omg:, I remember something about Rugal reviving him so I thought that once that effect was over, he'd be dead again. Anyway, that's nice to know 'cause he's one of my favourites. :P

I think he can juggle too much, don't recall the Aragami chain setting opponents for juggles (but then again you're arranging him).
Looks pretty good though.

Nice. I'd say the shading on the "pants" doesn't seem to fit his positions very well, but maybe it's just me.
And in KoF he just says "You..." IINM, not that it matters. ;P

but... I have another question...

in kof games, when you win a round with low life, and recover some but you dont get your fullbar, and you are in the next round with less than 100% life, you don't get hit at all and you win, should that be considered perfect? I mean you didn't get hit at all but you dont have the full bar :P
IMO perfect should mean both not getting hit and having a full lifebar, so no (though I sometimes also asked myself the same).

Are you serious?  I dont see much difference....
Auras and stuff seem a bit different, but yeah, not "much better". :P

Not that BT2 needed any graphical improvement... the only thing I thought that could be better was some of the "dome" supers like Cell's, they could've made them actually energy spheres like the series instead of looking like fireworks.

Also, could've used more Bernsteins to go with the Howards, it'd have been nice to have both teh KoF boss and teh SNK boss. :P
