I'd say 'please' if it would help.

If there are any extra codes to go around, I'd like to join in the begging for one.

Pic of the day. This is the World Status you can see in Spectator mode. The game isn't released yet so the map looks pretty plain now, but I wonder what it'll look like once it's out? Also, this is where you can see all sorts of stats being tallied up. In Group play and Spectator mode, you can see characters you haven't unlocked yet, so watch out if you don't want to be spoiled.

Even if you don't want to be spoiled, it might be wise to select the Online option at least once before you start the game. Your Global Smash Power won't appear until the first time you connect to the internet. Not only that, but there could potentially be a patch available that can resolve potential issues, like the one being released now for the Japanese version of the game. For the package version, updates can be pre-downloaded to your system even before you purchase the game, so make sure you look out for them.

If you don't want to be spoiled, he says.  :mmhmm:

Dark Pit is literally Pit's black palette swap from Brawl, given its own space on the select screen.  It's beyond stupid.

If any of your mains have deserted you, Dark Pit welcomes your devotion in their stead.

Dark Pit can go suck a bag of dicks for all I care.  But getting to have all 7 Koopa Kids as playable characters does take off some of the sting of Lucas being cut.

Poor, poor Lucas.  Getting cut from Smash is just another hardship in the never-ending tragedy that is your life.

The 'Roy' in question is Roy Koopa, as a Bowser Jr. skin.  Fire Emblem Roy isn't coming back.

Sounds creative overall.  I like the fact DHD is an incarnation of 80's games in his moveset.

Zapper games in particular it seems, which makes sense.  All of his smash attacks appear to be an off-screen shooter firing at the screen.

Oh shit Gema just unlocked Duck Hunt and is running him through training mode.  Love his final smash.  ;D

And all of his palettes are different breeds of dogs.
What does his Final Smash look like?

A flock of ducks flies past and carries whoever they hit to a shooting range where a bunch of gunners from Wild Gunman are shooting at targets from Hogan's Alley.  Characters get caught in the crossfire while the dog laughs.  It's similar to Capt. Falcon's final smash.

I saw some footage of DHD from another twitch stream, he plays pretty cool he even has a duck sitting on his back while he is idling there. He also has his famous jump in the bushes and laugh for an entry. As for his moveset I'm unsure it looks pretty unique compared to others.

He summons the gunmen from Wild Gunman and the barrels from Hogan's Alley.

I need footage, dammit!

:EDIT:  Never mind, I found it.

He looks great.  Duck Hunt Hype levels off the scales.

Holy shit I missed ALL of this.  I fucking love that they added a Magicant stage.  And it looks like the Magicant from Mother instead of Earthbound, which is awesome.  I just caught the tail end of that last battle with Master Core on gema's stream.  Looks great.  Is there an alternate upload somewhere for the Duck Hunt footage from the other stream?  I really want to see how he plays.

Pic of the day. Users in Japan, you can now download the demo for Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS! You can pick among 5 fighters with which to play. The stage is Battlefield, and the rules are fixed. There will be a few items and assist trophies available too. You can battle via local wireless, so have fun battling with your friends. For users outside of Japan, stay tuned for more news about the demo for Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS. Screen shot is from Japanese version.

The only mode available on the demo version is Smash, but I also left open a feature called Tips. Just remember to tap that button. You'll figure the rest out once you do.

So yeah, demo is coming everywhere else eventually.

We interrupt this Cosby talk to bring you the latest in theories and speculation:

Basically, these guys believe they've found evidence that all of the leaked pictures and footage come from the same build using the same save state.  They're claiming that since that All-Star Mode is still locked on that build, even though it does have Dark Pit/Duck Hunt/Bowser Jr and the rest unlocked, that proves that the roster shown in the leak isn't 100% complete.

I have no idea where that screen with the six question marks comes from, probably just a mock-up.
