That response is a way to say...

Note the word "puto" isn't exclusively used as a pejorative word against homosexuals.

FIFA doesn't like the small teams make the big teams sweat. When honestly, the small teams are more entertaining than the top CONMEBOL/UEFA Teams.

They earn a lot of money on their respective leagues, so the lust to earn a world recognition and be picked up by an important team are simply non existent. On the other hand, I foresee many players from Chile, Costa Rica or Colombia will be probably playing the next season in Europe.

This happened to some South Korean players back in 2002 after their extraordinary matches in the WC.

Actually, one South Korean player was fired from its Italian club after the World Cup. Later they took back their decision, but the player said "fuck it".
