I understand that but how can you put words like "First Attack!" or "Danger!" also, is there a way to put the combo messages with variables?

in some fighting games (like tatsunoko vs capcom) words will appear when you attack your opponent with certain amounts of combos. like for 3 combos, it can say "Good!" or if on 25 combos, it can say "fantastic". I've seen some mugen characters with this, but it is very confusing to me.

is it possible to change your characters small portrait during a battle? like when they get hurt and lose. I've seen a sailor mars character before with something like that.

mugen is a fighting game engine. in which you make your own things! also, there aren't many cool characters. there are too many characters from anime shows which don't fight! (for example: Lucky Star Characters)

where is the code library
Yes, it's Caillou from the PBS Kids show. He has all required sprites and attacks with snowflakes.
he has a hyper combo super, and a hyper portrait. oh, and the character he is fighting, fido dido, is another WIP.
Caillou has custom sprites.
