While surfing around. I found this.
"An attractive value of dual core processors is that they do not require a new motherboard, but can be used in existing boards that feature the correct socket."
*quoted form Dual-Core

What does it mean?
I'm kinda confused now about dual core.
Because its kinda new on my knowledge and want to learn about it since i want to buy one of this.
Lets say i got, Pentium(R) 4.
How does that quoted idea make sense?
Any help?

Hi guys.
I have a question.
I'm going to reformat my pc.
I'm going to divide my hard drive space by partitioning it.
lets say i got 40 GB.
I want to divide my hard drive in 2.
One partition for Windows Xp and One partition for my personal files, like games.
If i will install Microsoft Windows XP in one of the 2 partition.
How much in size should i give on that partition where i'm gonna install Windows XP?

iirc complete transparency (doesn't show) is generally on an unpaletted sprite and it'll convert to white/black depending on program. Niether of those are particularly good colours so you may be better served to index them, then recolour and then recolour any bits that get caught up in the transparency settings.

i think that's pretty cool.
but is there a tool to make pallete from tons and how can i do it?
but i think i just do it manually.

I have some question regarding the pallete of sprite.
I have tons of png sprites but they are transparent.
I mean, their background is no color, really transparent.
Is there a way to make a pallete with that kind of sprites?
Or,
manually coloring up their background?

Hi.
I need help regarding ripping sprites from the game "Ninku" in sega saturn.
I'm using Sff emulator which can disable some BGs.
"Ninku" is 100% emulated by this emulator:
SSF part 1
SSF part 2
I can successfully rip these sprites by using Animget though my PC is too slow to the point that I cant play the game properly.
I really wanted the sprites of this game.
So, anybody help?

Immovable

Is it possible to make your player Immovable when he isnt moving?
Like your player is standing or other movements that does have 0 velocity.
Like:
P1 is standing, P2 is running to P1, when P2 reach P1, P1 will stay in position without being moved by P2.

Possible?
Thanks.

For this example at the starting point the X velocity is at its negative maximum and the Y velocity is at zero and then increasing to its positive maximum.
This means the X vel has to be -cos(...) and Y vel has to be sin(...)

Try this:
x = -cos(Time*Pi/180)
y = 0.5*sin(Time*Pi/180)

If you want a faster movement use 60 or 120 instead of 180.

Wow. It really works.  :o !!!
Thank You Very Much MikeDaBike For Help.
It was great. Thanks for helping me out.  :sugoi:

It's actually a bindtoparent effect. Check out the code library, there's something in there.

Thanks a lot.
This helps me during binding is needed.
Thanks.

I guess you want your player/helper to make a oval movement without itself rotating?
Then just give it a periodic (sin/cos) x and y velocity with the x velocity being higher than y (like 2 times or 3 times higher).

Use velocities like this:
A*cos(Time*Pi/B)
"A" determines how big the "ellipse" is and "B" how long it takes for one rotation.
Keep in mind that you've got to use different functions for the x and y velocity ("cos" for one and "sin" for the other).

Thanks a lot.
this helps me when didnt need binding.

Anyway, i have one question.
how do i make a starting point like this for rotation?

coz' i cant make it like that.
when my helper's velocity is x = -6 and time is lower than 9.
after about time = 9.
it will change to rotation.
but, instead of rotating like that in the image, it will start rotating having upward-left movement first.
instead of left then left-downward movement.

Sorry if my explaination is like complicated.  :sugoi:

Please Help.
Thanks.

4,2,2,1 means you fight 4 characters who have order = 1, then 2 characters who have order = 2, then 2 who have order = 3, then 1 who has order = 4.

Owie...!!
I finally understand it.
Thanks a lot Byakko.

How about "includestage=0"?

-AnD-

Is "ccikrauser96, random, music=sound/FFX-Otherworld.mp3" means that FFX-Otherworld.mp3 wil play as a BGM for ccikrauser96 during fight?

ccikrauser96, random, music=sound/FFX-Otherworld.mp3, order = 3

mukai, stages/kf2k3_cave.def, includestage=0, order = 4
-AnD-
This can be find in all select.def But I don't seem understand it.
arcade.maxmatches = 4,2,2,1,0,0,0,0,0,0
