Okay. You can still scale the character yourself, so I don't know why we're still talking about this.

Alex. S (G.O.D) fixed up his voice for us, so you can all re-download him to fix that up. I believe that would be everything fixed until I get more feedback! I would have uploaded a patch, but the snd is 7mbs, so I just reupload the whole character.
Na... Cuz your are talking about accurate.
scale could course problems you can't imagine.  (Cuz I did this before. I know sort of it. I'm sharing my experiences)
1. Character's combo. (if your arm is long enough more combo could be possible, if I scale it down, combo may not be possible)
2. Character's stratege (your 1:1 Necro's Heavy punch can hit amost from side to side.)
3. Character's looking
4. Character's velocity (scale only change size but not velocity, have to change code to adapter the velocity)
5. Character's width and pos (you must put posadd or posset in code, but with scale you need to change the value)
6. Character's explode (scaling only affect to character and it's helper but not explode. you need to change the explode scale too)
7. Gravity (scaling won't affect to the gravity)

the above is what I've found during modify parse's HD Ken and Ryu
all I want to say "scaling is not just a looking problem it's a huge problem."

The resolution of your image looks like a bag of horse manure. But if you want ugly ass sprites, feel free to scale via constants because it won't mess anything up. :)

How long did it take you to make the character Rajaa?

The def file should give you the date I renamed his files to "SF3_Necro," which is technically when I began making him.

It won't cause problems in my character, because, if you read my post, I have already made the necessary accommodations for scaling via the constants. I don't care if the scaling is not accurate, you are just going to have to get over it, I guess.

Also, my SF3 game doesn't look like the screenshot you posted, your screenshot looks horrible. What emulator or whatever are you even using? The scaling I use looks much more like the scaling I see with FBA. Eh.
I'm using mame for Mac OSX
ROM is 990512 NOCD.

plz post what you are using? I don't think the emulator is wrong.

That's not a problem, that's my choice. You can change the scale of the character if you want, I already made the necessary accommodations for that. Furthermore, I don't like scaling the sprites, so I will not be uploading with scale included. SF3 is 384x224, which is fucking stupid, and the sprites look horrible scaled. Even furthermore, the sound issue has been noted and I will fix it when I get the quality of the sounds to the quality that I want them to be.

But for me to use 1:1 is really not accurate. character looks short and fat than the real game.
I know to compromise the x/yscale is not easy task. (because I'm doing this for POTS morrigan)
cus you have to * Const(size.xscale) or y scale to every vel / pos / and dist value. and pos vaule need to be ceil()ed.
just change the scaling value will case alots problem.

Real game his is this long.

I know lot's of Characters use 1:1 pixel but this character really mater!

and the sound wasn't right.

Yeah, I download mame and Nightwarriors (1995)
and found some moves that pots morrigan don't have.

as a AI maker like you I found I lost the willing to play mugen by myself. I found myself more like to look at AI fights :)

and I never able to beat my AI or your AI...... as long as turn the difficulty to 1....



Yeah I like watching AI fights more than playing it too....I was never able to beat your Pots Ken AI or Akuma Good Ghost AI unless the difficulty's on level 4 or lower....they're brutal....fighting your Pots Ken AI is like fighting Daigo lol.

I'm able to beat my AI but most of the time I can't either unless the difficulty level is lower than 4.

I've made some edits of POTS's ryu ken akuma as you may know.
all of them have some difference and much stronger AI. (I used real player as reference)

now I'd like to the samething to his Morrigan.
but I realy don't know how to play Morrigan at all. there is a losts of videos out there for ryu and ken.
but I can't find a great video for Morrigan at all.

@beterhans, thanks, I'll look into it (1). And yes, turbo speed as referece (default speed) - the turbo is on the title!- I think normal speed is too slow, and it was the most thing people complained about ssf2, so they made ssf2t. I didn't understand (2), can you give more info and how it happens?


Ha. I like SF2 CE the best So I always think your moves are weird. may be I should find a SSF2t rom and try it.
and you must remember my edits of your ken ryu. they are using SF2 CE timing (normal speed). so you must complained they are to slow :)

They are much cooler than before.
great job.

but they are moving too fast I think.. real game is much slower. or you are using turbo 2 speed as reference? not normal?

now for bugs.
1. ken's flame shoryuken will put target become invisible, and give flame anime on P2. but If a POTS character parry it. the flame still applied. should check P2 is in your state them apply flame.
2 something ken can fly into air.
