Edit: I found a good resolution but ran into another bug, most of the stage fatalities are either ignored or they do the spike fatality (which is the kombat tomb style fatality for most other mugen stages) Also I noticed the finish him music for each of your stages doesn't play with any of the chars (all ninjas and shang tsung)

use the res 640x480, because if you use other then the game localcord change and the stageID system no longer works (it returns wrong values)

Well the finish him music can fixed if we wait for the ex + alpha series of 1.0 mugen.  ;)

thats true, the last is the mugen 1.0 RC5 EX + alpha, im waiting for a new one for RC6  :(

ran into a bug with the 1.0 version of female ninja

Error message: Trigger not valid for mugenversion of character: ailevel

Edit: Same error appears with Cyberninja too

thats because i commit a error in the DEF, i forgot to change the mugenversion = 1.0 in all the DEf files oops again

you can fix it opening the DEF files and changing that line, all must be mugenversion = 1.0
, i think actually say 2002, blablalbalb, change to 1.0  :)

Show us a video demonstration of soul ninja UMK3, and don't forget to add shang tsung MK2 and soul ninja umk3 the in-game movelist!

i think time ago in the movelist and make video, but im a little lazy  :P

there is a bug. when i use subzero's deep freeze on the non fatality compatibility char, it went invisible!
fix that.

EDIT: i found the error, sorry, you can wait to the update (not soon) or change by yourself, to do it you need to:

  • Open the shaddap.cns
  • Go to the state 60731

    then find this state controller (is easy because is a short state)

    [mcode][State ]
    type = Helper
    triggerall = !numhelper(60733)
    trigger1 = animelemtime(4) = 10
    helpertype = Normal
    ID = 60733
    name = "eternal ice"

    then just change the 4 in the trigger1 to a 3, then it must be like this

hmm might be time for me to go to 1.0 Mugen although I hope it will be easy to convert the rest of my mugen roster to 1.0

you not need to convert  :S you can use all your old stuffs
try download the mugen 1.0 RC6, and do a backup of the new mugen.cfg, then erase the folders data, chars and stages, the take yours (that folders in your winmugen) and move, then overwrite the mugen.cfg from the RC6 that you copied, then your data folder will chagne just in the mugen.cfg file

hey juano will you be updating the chars and umk3 soul ninja for winmugen?

i forgotten to mention, today i uploaded winmugen versions of all my chars with the las updates

now i moved to mugen 1.0, then i not expect to launch more updates of my chars to winmugen

Can you update the version of the stages on your site? In 1.0 mugen, when I do a stage fatality, it only shows spikes like kombat tomb.
Can you fix the issue?

i already uploaded the stages to mugen 1.0 too
check in my page, the stage section, there is mugen 1.0 versions of the stages

Nice work once again with the Ninjas, Juano...specially now that you've made them in all their UMK3 Sprited Glory.

I have one question though...what scale values do you recommend we apply to the cns so that they can appear in compatible size with the rest of the mugen character universe?

No...He just released Soul Ninja UMK3 as a NEW character compatible with Mugen 1.0. --;

Note, if you read the thread title, he also further updated Soul Ninja MK2 as well as his other chars to Mugen 1.0.

There is a little update of the char, i didnt have much free time, then there is just a few changes  :(

  • Fixed Deep freeze fatality bug

  • Changed pallete system to have 2 colors by char

when your morph char enter in a custom state of the enemy you cant control the changeanim and changeanim2, that can be solved in full games, but in regular mugen is hard, maybe impossible, a example of that is my shang tsung

very good char, but i noticed that my chars have problems with him for the fatality system then i need to disable the fatality system in my chars when they fight vs your boss  :P

the game have a lot of minor bugs, the only major bugs that i noticed is the liu kang air fireball and the battle plan super bug when you choose the arcade mode with player 2

but my main complain is the poor AI in the game  :-\ , i need to practice more in code AI for the chars

im fixing little bugs that im finding and others that the ppl report, for now, im polishing the actual stuffs, fixing ones, recoding others, but im not adding new stuffs like new chars, new attacks or changes in the engine

there is some left stuffs that i not fixed before the launch, and im working in that, for example im working in stuffs to have different palletes in the chars, bacause in the v1.0 there isnt second pallete, only a dark effect.

i not want to enter in the polemic about "original Arcade" VS "inovation" is impossible make everyworld happy

for now thats my idea with the game, remember i not feel it like a complete version yet

Perdón por la pregunta, pero vamos a poder sacar las cosas y ponerlas en cualquier MUGEN?

the game is encypted, but some stuffs cant work in any mugen, like the char, if you try to use in regular mugen shang not work, he still freeze in stand
and the stages have a res os 395 x 254, then you cant use them

for that reason im gonna release a update of shang with the fixes and stuffs added (kintaro and shao)

pd: also the option to easy disable the dial-up combos and combo count

Really very nice. You've done an outstanding job, as usual. :) Plus, you really work fast ! o_O Really feels like a fullgame, especially thanks to the story screen animation.

No in-depth feedback :
- Some stages could have better shadows, such as the blood pit, where shadows go over the bridge.
- The night bridge where Santa Claus passes in the sky has this problem too. Plus, the Santa animation disappears at the right of the stage before it's totally out of the screen (this can be corrected by changing the X axis of the sprite in the SFF itself).
- Also, if you win without doing a fatality, the game is a little too long to go to the victory screen IMO.
- When I select characters in training mode, the game makes strange sound bugs for a second or two !?

well the last happen because the mugen start the music before the first tick of the fight, that is solved in the +alpha versions, but there is not RC6 EX+ alpha

i tried really to make it fell like a full game, for that reason i made the bios screen, vs screen and battle plan

maybe i work fast because i made stuffs in simple ways, but IMO i think this release was hurry, i wanted to launch the 1.0 in december 25, but i overlook various important details, i cant belive that i forgot to change a trigger in the liu kang air fireball  :-\

but well, the revision 1.1 will have the stuffs that i wanted in the 1.0

I see one bug: Liu kang can't fire his fireball in air.
Hope you need to fix that. And for your next version, can you add kung fu man and cyborg ninjas?  :)

i discover that bug yesterday, that happen because some hours before the launch i fix some stuffs in liu kang`s fireballs attacks but i commit a error in the air fireball, i already fix it, in the next update will be fixed

and about the cyborg ninjas, i wasnt thinking in add them to the game
and kfm... well i did something about it
