Edit: Watching that video, near the end of round one, you can see player two rolls upward, so it was always that way.
that pressin up or changing the camera angle doesn't always let you move about the map on 3D fighting games.. here you jump! and shame.. Tekken 1-3 are the only good ones

When you press Up, do you jump or move into the background?
If you move, it's 3D. If you jump, it's 2D.
Not necessarily, SF4 is 3d, with 2d gameplay
This game is 2d, The graphics are prerendered. No models are in the actual game, so its 2d
