Yea it looks realy cool but if the cool look is the only thing thats interesting on it, why not buy a replica off the Movie version?^^

But to be honest that would be the only way for me to get a "Pulse Rifle" anyway because of the Laws in my country.^^

It's impressive how many updates you did in this short time. :shocked2:

If you find the time, could you Edit your first post? It would be nice if you at least add the infos about important features that you changed or added, and maybe the little tutorial vids you created, so beginners could find them at the first view and don't have to search the whole topic for it.^^

Mhh the Vid was removed by the user, what did it show?

But everything else, as long as the 12 character set is against the same 12 character set, that can be controlled by p2name conditions, which will be used for when they get thrown around. But if they should get thrown by someone else like KFM, I may have to come up with something for the case that they aren't comtabale with each other.

That is still realy interesting for me, I hope you find a way to make this char work not just only against it self, but working against normal mugen chars like KFM too, that would solve so many problems.

Maybe I have a solution for the problem with the looping, as far as I know it is possible to add loop points to Ogg Vorbis files with the right program, I don't know if Fighter Creater supports ogg files right now, but if you add a support for ogg files with loop points it could solve this problem, unless someone has a better solution.

It becomes stealing when it's someone who made the stuff themselves FROM SCRATCH mind you and the person who took it didn't ask permission to use it. But that's not enforced so whatever. The reason big companies don't care about what we do is because they called it fan art and they know we're not making profit off of it.

Afaik only Capcom and SNK "don't care" about it, and consider Mugen Chars,stages and Games as Fanart, but in most cases it is still stealing, because the Mugen community "don't cares" and uses stuff from many games, and from many companies without asking them for permission to use there stuff.

Because we all now that not all companies are like capcom in terms of fanwork, many companies could and would probably sue the crap out of the community if they believe, that they have to do it to defend there IP's because of the US Copyright laws etc.

I'm still working on some templates to get you guys going, just been a bit busy.

I have a lot of things planned for Fighter Creator like online multiplayer support, 3D and 2.5D support, PhysX, Box2D, 2D Skeletal Animation system, and more but, it all depends on how much support I get,

I tihnk if you get the thing on steam, the support for it will grow drastically, but you have to be a little more professional as before.
And you still need your own stage and char for the presentation on steam, they could remove it because of copyright etc.

Wird warsheinlich irgentwelche Gründe haben die ich nicht versteh da ich weder ein Grafiker noch Coder bin sondern nur ein Gamer.^^

Ok that would be at least kind of funny.^^

But if they go with cloning, they could also use the "Ha ha I was alive all the time and you just killed my doppelganger/Clone just as I planned" route, to make it even more ridiculous.

Alright. I jaunted over to an alternate universe to find such a thing (in this universe SNK licensed off its IP because pachinko is illegal), here is a short description taken from various reviews and ads:

Your name is Kyo Killam, code name: Kusanagi; however, you are only referred to something other than your last name twice. You are allegedly at least part Asian but honestly though, you look like you're Anna Faris's brother or something.

It is in the not so distant future; governments have collapsed and everything is run by mega-corporations, who use advertising to plant subliminal messages into the minds of their customer/citizens. This is very thoughtful, very insightful social commentary. You are a mercenary, employed by the NJP company. Your squad, KOF, is deployed to handle delicate cases involving espionage and all out war against your rival mega-corporations. Your teammates are T-Bone Bogard (think Cole from Gears of War, but written and portrayed incredibly offensively), Mai Shiranui (repeatedly insists her cleavage exposing, functionality-destroying modifications to her tactical armor is a form of empowerment, is hot for Kyo), and Billy Cain (the tech guy, has a soul patch). Your main fire arm is the Type 108 Yami Barai, pronounced by every character as "Yammy Barry".

Your mission in this game is to infiltrate the island stronghold Hakkesshu of the Black Noah corporation, run by the mysterious R. Bernstein, who is only referred to by other characters as R, often while yelling very loudly. This prompts the creation of thousands of videos, images, and the like of adding eye patches and parrots and stuff to the characters whenever they yell out "Aaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrr" (because pirates). Your mission is to eliminate their special weapons division that is rumored to have developed technology that will allow them to dominate the world.

Shortly into this mission Kyo gets injected with Black Noah's secret project: Orochi, an advanced nanotech system designed to create supersoldiers. By building up your rage meter, you can activate Orochi mode and enable bullet time and cinematic kills. There is zero fire involved; at no point does Kyo use fire in the game.

You encounter many characters as your enemies on your mission that are from the original KOF games that have been creatively and indicatively re-conceptualized; Athena, whose clothing is made entirely out of buckles for no apparent reason; Ryo Sakazaki, who is portrayed as a wizened old martial arts master who nonetheless still uses a gun; and of course Kyo's rival, Iori, who is actually Kyo's secret twin brother who also possesses the Orochi nanomachines. The final boss is Rugal, who is not missing an eye and does not have any facial hair. He mutates into a hideous blob monster thing with eight heads for his second form after injecting himself with Orochi. The game ends with some sequel bait, hinting that Iori has survived.

Reminds me of the King of Fighters live action movie. Ö_Ö

This was an Urban Legend? I was sure it was confirmed they just didn't want people digging in a landfill lol.

Afaik they sayed in a interview that they attempted to bury the ET cartridges , but they where caught by someone and then they disposed in the normal way after that.

Oh thats a nice idea for a project, but it will be hard work I guess.

I already thought about the required sprite limit thing against other characters, and the problems it may cause.
Though what I would do here is include each required sprite for each character, but numbered slightly different These would only be used if the SFIIWW character set was against the same SFIIWW character set. Other times, I imagine they either would not be able to get thrown by KFM, or would just switch in to RYU for a moment when being thrown by KFM. So to fix this against other characters, I would probably use a helper character to display the character in hit/thrown frames, and make the root character invisible.

That Part is realy interesting, if it works like it is intended, it would give the community a way to create Chars with alternative costumes or Transforming abilities without the need of "armor mode" or make them  for Fullgame only.

SNK created completely new sprites for the Capcom characters, but reused KoF sprites for existing SNK characters, it's the exact same thing.

It is not the same thing because SNK used one spritestyle and did not mixed some Styles.

Morrigan is the only exception.
(other characters taken from SFZ like Honda, Sagat, Cammy etc. were rescaled and it was enough to look similar).

And I see that different, I don't think that rescaled sprites are enough to fit with the complete new spritestyle they added to the game.

DKDC the only thing that I don't like with the Capcom games is, that I belief that some Chars should have got new Sprites too, at least Morrigan to fit with the Style, thats the only thing thats realy bothers me, the rest of it is great.
