I just tried to read this entire thread and borderline enjoyed it.

It was made even funnier by the fact that every kid I know hasn't heard of those two characters because they're parents usually don't let them play those video games, or (more often) they've never heard of Resident Evil or Metal Gear Solid because those games aren't Halo or Guitar Hero.

I love his chars too, but I was just surprised to see a Kamehameha, not angry. In the end, the Homer Simpson character is what really got a lot of people into Mugen because it's funny and a recognizable character, so an update to it is always good.

I've only heard of one person killing themselves over flames (at least one that can be confirmed) but I don't understand why they kill themselves over words on screens. Really though, it's better for you and everyone you know not to take the internet seriously, because that's exactly what trolls look out for, and it means you won't get upset enough about WoW that your children die from negligence.

I agree that most of trolling and flaming is done by dicks who should think about their actions (or the other people) a little harder, but I can't say that about all of them because I speak to some on a daily basis and not only are they intelligent, but they're also not huge dickheads (at least, not on IRC).

I think I went off topic somewhere, but the point is, the internet is not serious business.
