Haha, no. It had nothing to do with Saint Seiya :D (although I don't blame you for thinking that it was).

I apologize if I made it sound like I was confident about that interpretation. I was just a rough guess... I seriously spent about an hour looking for the meaning through multiple sources (partly to be helpful, and partly because I was curious what "Toshinden" actually meant).

"Legendary Battle of the Gods"? "Legendary Holy Battle"?

I looked up the meaning of all the kanji in various places and found that while while (伝) Den on its own can mean "legend", the combination of 神伝 (shinden) supposedly means "Sanctuary of the Kami (gods)". I'm not too familiar with the story in the game, but I do recall the character Uranus being something of a god if I'm not mistaken?

Again, it's just an interpretation. Take it with a grain of salt... :P

The kanji that make up Tōshinden roughly mean the following:

Battle - God/s - Sanctuary

Maybe you can use a translation as the subtitle. For example: Battle in the Sanctuary of the Gods (too long, maybe...)

So, wait... what do you need again? A charging move and a tackle-like move?

Can you post a really rough sketch of what that would look like or do you have a Youtube video or something showing what that "facade" move looks like? I'm not sure people will be able to submit what you want with the information given. We're not all Pokemon aficionados, hehe... :P

(FYI, by asking this I'm basically saying that you've shown enough progress to qualify for a request ;))

If all that's left is two animations, then yes, that's fine.

Again, it's relative. :P

You need something that shows that what you request will actually be put to good use if it is fulfilled. Ideally on something that's already at least 90% complete. Maybe it's easier if I show you examples of requests that aren't valid:

1. "I'm thinking of working on a new version of Zangief character but I really want him to have this one move that there are no sprites for. If someone sprites that move I promise I'll start working on the character!"

The above doesn't work because the person hasn't even done anything yet with the character. For all we know, he'll give up halfway or something or never get started.

2. "I'm working on this project, but I only have 50% of the sprites. I'd like to ask for this first (then I'll worry about the rest)"

The above doesn't work because the idea of this thread is to supply one or two missing animations, not half the sheet. And even if you weren't asking for the remaining half here, it would still mean that whatever effort the submitter maker may end up being wasted, since there's no way to tell when that other 50% will appear.

While there is nothing wrong with HR/HD sprites per se (and yours look quite good), if you really want to get into spriting, I strongly suggest starting with much smaller sprites.

The lack of pixel space can teach you the importance of conscious pixel placement as well as all of the fundamentals associated to spriting. Once you've managed to perfect a specific style within those limitations, you'll notice your bigger sprites will shape up a lot better as a result

Here's a good website that goes into more detail on what I'm saying: http://www.pixeljoint.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=11299

Anyone interested in fulfilling a request should indicate it in the thread before they actually start working on it (this is so we don't have more than one person working on the same submission for no reason).

If no one has indicated that they're doing it, then it would imply that unfortunately no one has taken on your request yet. :(

You should mention your request in your own project thread if you haven't yet. Might help it get more visibility.

This is the Request thread for the SET project, so ideally the only submissions that should be posted are ones that meet any of the requests in the first page :P

You can post this in the original Spritesheet Expansion Thread here: http://mugenguild.com/forum/topics/spritesheet-expansion-thread-146532.0.html.

It looks pretty awesome and I'm sure someone will get some use out of it if they finish it.

Based on the current arrangement, it's in the right place because it's custom to Ryu, since Ryu himself never used it in any of the games he was featured in. I didn't realize it was Sean's tatsu, though, so I'll definitely update the description.

NEW CUSTOM MOVES: This section is for any custom move that a specific character never performed in any other game in which they were featured.

     - Examples of stuff that's valid for this section:
          1. A "Spinning bird kick" move for Dan (Even though the "Spinning Bird Kick" in itself is an Official move, Dan himself never performed it).
          2. Anything else never performed by that character in any game in any similar fashion.

Um... this thread is mostly for people that want to add additional animations to current spritesheets, which is a lot less work than creating a whole new sheet, but which can still lead to cool stuff getting done.

In your case, you did the latter, so... it's frickin' awesome :D... but I guess it doesn't specifically fit this thread? :P

I think something of that effort deserves its own thread, which it already has. Maybe if someone makes a thread someday that compiles full-sheets, you could submit that one.

Yeah, at this point there needs to be a huge twist to justify all the time it's taking for this arc to get somewhere. The fact that people guessed that Tobi was Obito way too early sort of ruined the suspense and thrill for almost everything that might happen from that point onwards (there were some exceptions, sure... but not in the general scope of the story).

If you post the frames of the thingie that goes up, I'll give it a shot tomorrow during the day.

Knock yourself out! :) (palette's at the bottom)

Now that I think about it, I might look at Iron Man's Proton Cannon for reference.

For the chamber, maybe one more shade (highlight) would help it blend better with the chair.

I wanted the chamber to share the same exact palette as the chair, so I can't add any more colors, unfortunately.

Speaking of which, you can use this one if you want, which has the cushion and lights separated.

That color separation looks like it was a pain in the butt! Kudos to whoever had the patience to do that! I don't plan on color separating this animation, though. If someone wants to go in and change it later, they're welcome to do so.
