Ideally they will play differently.  If you test out Ringlerun, you'll see he's just using Shang Tsung's sprites only, none of his moves.  Also, if you look at Warduke, that's not a palette swap at all - lots of tedious pixel art involved.

Sean, thank you for that! 

As to why the hair isn't black, there's a very simple reason for that -- his hair and skin share the same colors on the palette.  If you make his hair black, then his skin goes black too.  If there's a simple way to address that, please tell me and I'll do it.  But I'm not going to cut and paste a new head onto 500 frames of animation just to make his hair black!

Well if you want to be technical about it, the characters aren't really Takuma, Ken, Dan and Mr. Karate - they use their sprites, but are meant to just be generic combatants.  The actual moves they are performing - basic punches and kicks, could be from any style or school of martial arts.  Since they're wearing traditional karate gi's, I called 'em "Karate guys".

Well the action figure has long hair in back, so I don't mind that part.  Also, the sprite does come with a staff, it's an Explode so you have to download the char and play to see it.

I could upload it right now to Rapidshare, but then only 10 people can get it.  Please be patient a bit longer, sorry!

Also, I made him to go in this Enter the Dragon game - which is both a compilation and a bunch of edits.  Playing through Arcade mode simulates the story of the movie.  ONLY intended for fans of the movie!  Is this something people would be interested in playing, or should I just upload the character only?

It is going to be a release - I need to see if Randomish can host not just the char, but also the Enter the Dragon game he comes with.

The goal was to make the ultimate Bruce Lee char for MUGEN.  This is a Fei-Long edit.  He has the One-Inch Punch and some other custom moves.  But the best part is that he has nunchuks.  You can toggle between them and unarmed combat. 

NEW UPDATE:  Changed his hair to black.  Has white tank-top alternate outfit.  Added fatality.  Thanks to KOD for the new colors!

To perform the fatality do QCB + x
To toggle nunchuck mode on/off hit Start

He's got a ton of Bruce voice samples, sound FX from Enter the Dragon

Disclaimer:  I didn't create the original sprites, or the coding.  I did make all the nunchuk sprites however (by frankenspriting).  This is an edit of other people's work and is intended to be a fun character that let's you emulate being Bruce Lee.  This doesn't replace Fei Long, and isn't intended for Street Fighter games.  He does a lot of damage, and that's because Bruce Lee is supposed to kick ass.  Feel free to imprrove or alter the character - I'm not releasing this to get praise, I really just wanted to share my private hobby with other Bruce Lee fans.  This took many hours of my free time and I'm not making any money off it, and sharing it for the enjoyment of others only.

So the problem is that it only let's me toggle back and forth from Nunchuk to regular mode if one of the triggers is Power = 3000.  If I remove that line from the command, then Nunckuk mode doesn't work at all.

Here's the command line for that:
