Edit:- Some very kind person sent me street fighter 3 sprites, but I was wondering is there anyway to open them up on 1 sheet, otherwise I have to go through every picture individualy and it would take me 3 years to so for every hadou O.o. If not it's cool I'll just do it the way it is ^^ just hoping for a slighlty easier method. And I have just found I can't even copy them into paaint, I have to print screen and copy it out 
and some don't even open . I'm still grateful don't get me wrong, just asking for a easier way to do this.

Thanks very much ^^, I do have one problem though, all my sprites are save in png. or tiff, I'm using vista (christ knows why) and even if I save in bitmap it distorts it, any other save type destroys the picture, but I don't think they can use my sprites if they are not the required file type, what file type do I need and how do I convert them?

A beadless Gouken, I'm not too keen on this alteration, but I will be trying to perfect both standing sprites before moving on to the animations ^^

I don't paticularly want him to be fatter, because I envisioned him fighting against the Capcom vs SNK2 cast who are alot better sized in my opinion, making Gouken the biggest and fattest character in the roster, as for his chest I wasn't too sure on it myself, abit awkward to sprite though, I can't get it right, it seemed fine with just one hand faced down, but when I put the other arm up I was like eh... I will try my best to sort that out, along with removing his beads, and the trousers will not stay like that, when animated they will flow so I am not worried ^^. Thanks for all the critism and I hope to make it as good as possible.

So he doesn't ^^ I never noticed he doesn't have prayer beads, well I've never played street fighter 4, I will do that at somepoint 
, another thing if I can request, is can anyone get me some sprites of the hadou characters from Street Fighter III 3rd Strike, so I can mix and match them to make Gouken's moves. Would be very much apreciated

I am going to start trying to do Gouken, I cannot code but would love to do a full sprite sheet and see someone else code it (if they so choose) I have made a start but not very much, as of now I just need a few opinions on what is best so I cam make him as good as possible.
This is what I've got right now.
I have also done a few slight variations on the sleeve.
Please let the critism start

Seriously i can't find no other sprites of gen......... its ridiculous all the site you guys linked me i can look at all character except for street fighter alpha ones, they give me alod of random numbers instead of images. if you guys can see them for some reason can you put em into paint or paint.net and send em to me or post them here and ill copy them off one by one to edit them please, anything will help guys. peace

edit:- http://img220.imageshack.us/img220/1299/goutetsu.png now i know it's not cvs comparison whick it was going to be but i think thats how he should look compared to gouken (who is huge) and ken (average) i upped the graphics a fair bit i think, the definition was sutley changed and looks much better his toes i aint sure which i prefer so please tell me what you think, as for his left foot and trousers i think the change is 10x better than it previously was and am very very happy with the result and the belt aint too bad either i think.

I have also deccided to do 2 costumes for goutetsu. 1 is what you have seen so far and the second is him with a full gi and prayer beads.. also tony i know you have done so much for me so far but ccould you have a go at doing the belt a rope, the position he is stood make getting a nice looking belt so hard to do. 
of course you dont have to but i will keep trying

I'm using it and it's pretty flash it's so neat and tidy. I'm going to keep working on the main sprite the one i showed before until i am happy with it and feel it is almost "perfect" 
but the i need your opinion tony, how do you feel his belt should look? i can't figure it out, it's either a long belt that flows on the side, a main belt like ryu and ken or a rope like akuma? and skin complexity? gi colour if not one of the ones shown below in the link then what colour would you suggest? i was thinking of giving him liver spots like many old guys but the sprite is too small for it. plus it would't entirely suit him anyways and last but not least do these 2 styles go together? because i want him to be compatible with svc 2 style. http://img144.imageshack.us/img144/1299/goutetsu.png

Ok so i installed paint.net which when i download it changed it's name to dotnetf35setup.net and after installing it all it does it ask me to patch it which i did and then after that i have to patch it again and again whick i also and now i have to install it again and again? ???
