jeez seems like everyone is judging this harshly here and everywhere else

I love TF2 but this looks even funner, just that simple to me, the abilities seems to make it that much more fun, and if it has strong console support then this could be the start of a long-lasting franchise.

The only thing it has to prove to me now is if it's going to have unique weapons, game modes and maps that will set it even further apart from TF2. If it can do that, then it'll hold it's own.

Well in some gaming genres it makes it better to be at 60 FPS like CoD I agree, but for people to take a shit on a game for being locked in at 30 makes zero sense to me, especially if the game focuses on cinematics.

Real life doesn't look like how 60 FPS does in games, it just doesn't, so for people to be upset at devs for not putting 60 FPS into their game is just absurd to me.

24 fps is the standard film frame rate, 48 is double that. The goal of doubling the fps was to reduce motion blur and flicker and help create a more natural 3D look (if the film is shot or converted to 3D); however, this has the unfortunate side effect of making everythin look too real, if you can believe it. The higher frame rate makes everything look too life-like, making it easier to notice the artificiality of the sets and costumes, and everything looks like a cheap soap opera.

Always wanted to get into this series. I have free time today so why not?

The anime and manga are both excellent and it's overall one of my favorite anime/mangas of all time

edit: Destiny is dope and you have to play it for yourself. If you really don't like FPS games then sure you won't like it, but this game really exceeded expectations for me.

It can be really similar to WOW except there is no real trinity. Theres no healers just health/shield regen and everyone has roles just like it. Giant bosses with additional mobs that constantly respawn so you can really gameplan to figure out roles as you play. 2 of the bosses we fought were legitimate 30 minutes to a hour to kill, and we didnt even die. The gear and stuff is also similar to Team Fortress 2 that they all have quirky bonuses/perks, and etc. It's like borderlands on crack mixed with WoW mixed with Team Fortress 2 mixed with Halo.

I bet you are playing it solo... I don't know if you played the beta, but the game was reasonably challenging if you played with other people.

Im actually 2 man brofisting through it on hard mode, but we got to the Devil's Lair and it took us like 3 hours to beat that hard ass shit. That shit was WAAAAY too hard man. It took us almost 30-45 minutes to kill the bosses. It doesnt help that our 3rd guy didnt have a mic

It's not broken and never was, and Bison doesn't have the same offensive tools other top characters anyway so it was a great move but it's also one of the ONLY moves you have to worry about from him in the neutral game. It's not as broken as, say, AE Yun's standing elbow.

All iterations of bison's roundhouse have been dominant throughout SFIV's lifespan. Though as a Bison player I gotta say I use his st. MK a lot more

I'm not saying at all that Vice City was ever a GREAT game but for what it was during that time, I think to have that attitude is just unfair, is all. It's like shitting on old Pokemon games because the new ones having new features. Well of course they have new features haha. I know what you mean though.

I think it's unfair to call Vice City overrated if you consider the era it was created in. As the follow up to one of the most successful games of all time it did it's job fantastically.
