Alternate hat for Raiden, all done in 3Ds.max.

I need to tweak the shape a little in Zbrush and get the weaving pattern on the bottom big loop.

The loops in the body should bend the straw, so you can notice some pressure on it.


that har reminds me of the thunder god from big trouble in little china

I felt like picking at Ryu a little bit, this is a quick pose in Zbrush just to see what he looks like.  He's not actually rigged for animation, Zbrush has some tools that let you bend the model for a preview.

He's not textured either, those are preview colors.  I'm just messing with the overall shape.




Ryu looks real good but why so dark toned skin? if he is evil ryu, I understand the dark tone of skin but for regular ryu his skin needs to be lighter. or you can go with the red eyes. I like evil ryu better more than normal ryu.

yeah i cant figure out how to fix the transparency of the projectile. could you give me a hand.
@ about the skin color, its done with pallete. so he will have his original look as well. but yeah, the skeleton hand doesnt look all that well. im not sure what i did wrong.

I agree, subzero is a must have character for mk especially if scorpion is involved, right? ;) plus i want to keep the fans happy.

here is subzero. yeah I know that i said that subzero wouldnt be apearing in this game, but after so many request and talking it over with one of my team mates, we decided to add subzero to the roster.

here is a sneak peek of subzero created by dbzfreak

note: his costume colors will be altered in his pallete so dont worry about the colors for now ;)

thanx noside, I appreciate your support.  we are working very hard to deliver the best Mk project. and as a note to all, this game is not one of those lousy ass compilations that have broken characters. our characters will be well balanced and top of the line edits and creations.

hello guys, i know its been a little bit since i last posted. but we have been working hard on this project within the shadows. ive done alot of editing to mkm quan chi due to him lack certain moves, he now has a proper duck low and high kick. new magic animations etc. ive worked on his face quite a bit as well.


now enters Ermac and Frost to the roster. quanchi,frost,reiko,kano,scorpion,and ermac are completed as far as playablilty and sprites. we just gotta work out bugs and toy with the AI.

the glowing eyes fit the stage very well. its a nice interpretation of the forrest. Its original looking and who knows, maybe the trees in the forest do have glowing eyes during a certain time of the night. it is in outworld, so anything is possible. you guys did an amazing job with this stage. please continue
