are you indexing the sprite or are you using RGB? maybe that may have something to do with it. i always use indexed and also what i do is use pixel aspect ratio correction whenever I make pcx files

we are using a custom built mugen 1.0 engine. the characters will work in reg mugen 1.0 though.

yes quanchi has his mk9 look. and yes, scorpion has a different look too. the umk3 scorpion is just a a holder till we get the new one in the engine.

hello guys, just wanted to inform everyone that Carz has left MKR project due to life situations and has left the project In my hands. the project is moving alot faster now and more efficient. we have gotten lots of progress done as far as stages,completed characters, and gameplay mechanics. the mechanics are still being worked on though but its close to being straightened out i do believe.


a new update for kuatan palace which is the final update so no more updates for kuatan.
This stage has been revamped by kaadorpius. here is what its looking like now. compare old to the glorius new one.

guys here is a new screenshot of A new stage I created. its one of kahns stages that is conected to motaro's lair. meaning that its anotherside of motaros lair.

thanks man. i'm still working on it. slowly but surely. the engine is complete along with 3 characters kano, shangtsung, and scorpion. stages are being worked on as well. 8 of them are already completed and in the engine. My friend kaandorpius is doing the stages. I and some others are doing the spritework. carz is no longer a part of this project. I am now runnig the project.

hey to all. Im trying to figure out how I can make my stages hires. I just started making stages and to me, they look low quality even though the bmp is of great quality. can someone pls lead me into the right direction with a tutorial that will show me how to make hires or hd stages. thanx in advance.

Yeah, I was scratching my head over that one.  I like the way his vs portrait looked in SSTF2, but now he looks really different...  Especially the nose.

I think I'd rather make him look like he did in the SSTF2 intro, where he throws the fireball at the screen.
I agree, the intro for ssf2t was his canon look as i call it. I would suggest that look as well

Oh ::) then how would you suggest i fix it then? its quite aparent that it is necessary to have the green warp stuff or it would look even more stupid. i played the animation back to back and I still dont see what you are seeing. it is very accurate to the MKA version with the same amount of sprites/movements of the 3d version.

ryu is looking real good man. keep at. ;) Me personally, i like the way your Ryu looks b/c it reminds me of the original street fighter 2 ryu from the arcade.
II personall dont like how ryu looks in ssf4

finally finished the teleport after 4 hours. mind you, it was very challenging.next i will include the stomp and stance animations ;D

sorry guys that i havent posted in a while but i'm here to inform you that MK revival is still alive and that i have my hands tied up in working on quanchi right at the moment. but here you guys can see my work as I make more progress
