A question that needs to be ask---- is that FMV cutscene actaully part of the story mode? I guess it would'nt be a post-FFVI  game wihout some full motion videos in the story....
Also, What a relief......The fact Gilgamesh is there means Square did'nt completely spam the prequel with heroes. Who said they're not hidding Raines or Seymour?

Yes! The Man with the Leg Cramp is back! ( If that gag is coming back I'm happy...)

 Got major case of nostalgia from the overworld map. I'm guessing Square Enix got all the main characters they were crying over out the way, and then room someone unexpected. Also note we only have new heroes. Im assuming the villians will be reveal after the new year.......

No, I know Basch was not in the game Dissidia. But the point that I'm making is that Square added the Basch costume just to quite those who were disappointed in their chioce of characters. I'd thought even though they were twins and Gabranth had his different goals and paths than this brother's, the similarity based on apperarance was too repetitive in FFXII. Now is too repetitive in Dissidia based on costume. Also, when did Gabranth ever were that costume in FFXII? Isn't that Basch's costume during the main part of the game?

EDIT- Nevemind that's the Dalmascan officer's uniform. He was wearing it when he impersonated Basch in the beginning of FFXII. Shows how much I know.... :wall:

Uh, what? Have you played FFXII? There was a time in the game where Gabranth did disguise himself as Basch.

And what exactly is wrong with a Basch alt costume? What other alt costume could they possibly give to Gabranth?

I remember, when he killed Vaan's older brother. Sorry, I should clarify: Why does Square-Enix bother making individual characters when their only going to be copies of the other?

EDIT- As for the costume I understand why they use it. Don't get me wrong, it looks cool and it go with story of FFXII, but its really disappionting that :

1) They limited their creativity to only this costume
2) It's not really Basch van Rosenberg- just his little brother pretending to be him. AGAIN.

Folks, who says it has to two reps ( good and bad) for each game this time around? I think they may add two charcters for each side this time.

This is pushing it, but I hope we can unlock characters from the first one.... Although it is a PSP game......

Most of the phys/close fighters would work(Though Cecil would be a nightmare to make).  It's the distance players that get shafted because they have no space.  Which means about half the cast is nulled.
Once again, I disagree. Dissidia's system is just not MUGEN transferable. Even for someone like, say, Cloud. Explain to me a way to make his HP and Bravery attacks work. Dissidia is not meant to be on a 2D plane.

There may be one exception : Squall. Most of his bravery attack are close range( the only ones that arent are his thunder and blizzard magics) and his hp attacks could be used as supers. Although I dont know what would someone do about the movement problem because Squall is relatively fast on the ground and in the air.
