Say, with King III being a helper. I could imagine a palette for AKIII being a colour swap between King III and Armor King III.

Good or bad idea? :S

EDIT: BTW, I'm getting the distinct feeling that AK III is a bit of a dirty fighter since he got huge SPIKES on his shoes. How is that fair? O___O

no, king III's look is based on his his tekken 4 look, with long hair and wrestling trunks, the idea being that this is the successor of king II.


lol armor king II was a dirty fighter as well, he had spikes on his shoes and had a move where he punches the person in the balls.

I'm also currently modelling King III for tag team based moves with armor king III. So king III is like a helper.

Cool! The TTT old school Electric Chair > Flying Clothesline combination? (Ha, I just realized, that it is the Legion of Doom/Road Warriors finisher - The Doomsday Device)

Yeah and I was thinking of doings king's flurry, you know the one he does when the opponent is against the wall. Speaking of legion of doom, I was thinking of giving armor king III that style armor for an intro then he will take it off befire the fight.

I wouldn´t say that AK is the best, but he is pretty good.

Any plans for Armor King III throws?
Sweet Chin Music was a nice wrestling move addition.

Oh yeah, little suggestion... AKs Mist attack, give him one with red mist too and change them at random. It´s a common wrestling gimmick (Great Muta, Tajiri or Great Kabuki) to spray one colour and then later another one.

well AK has got me 93% win ratio and rank 40 formerly 19 in the world julia chang for me is a close second with 89% win ratio ;D

I like the coloured mist idea. So far I have given him a stonecold stunner and was planning to give him an attitude adjustment and since BC is the master of coding throws I might need his help in coding armor kings running bomb throw(where he catches the opponent in mid-ar)
My team told me not to include the rock bottom in case we decide to create king III as an official character.

Well, yeah I could dominate in T4 with King too, but all those Jin & Steve abusers (T4) they could win with ease if they know what they are doin´.
Now (T6 and T5) Jin is no God tier anymore and you can see that.

I do have to say that T6 online gamin´ is not the same as offline. Because of the darn lag you can´t block some low p.e. on reaction... I really don´t like T6 online.

Yeah I agree,  but if your playing on 10 to 25megs like I do its fine. although offline i am 100 times better and I rarely block low, I low parry all the time but if you get a room with a shitty connection parry is worse then blocking. 

Jin is still a beast on T6 and 9 /times out of 10 can nullify king  if your playing a pro jin. on the other hand there is armor king who can completely nullify almost any opponent which is why I strongly believe AK is the best character in tekken.

Well... actually King was bottom tier in Tekken 4 (and you would see Jin & Steve players dominating tournaments - darn GOD tier abusers!).

King got much better from Tekken 5 on.

I dont believe in "tiers" I used destroy people with ease in tekken 4 with king, in tekken 5 he was slowed down drastically and is very hard to use against a professional player. and without being bigheaded i can assure you that its near impossible for any king user to beat me when I am using armor king,bryan or julia. The number 2 king in the world is a guy called The_King_tekken, he is in my friendslist and as good a king as he is he cannot beat me. king has undoubtfully gotten worse. another great king user is guy named (Laww) he occasionally gets lucky ;P

as for jin i have played many pro jin's who spam EWHF constantly after a while it gets predictable my win ration is like 93% on tekken 6 online 1500 wins and about 80 losses LOL check online ps3 newtork, you can filter the search down to DA_MAVERIK I'll be around 40 in the world about now.yeah I sort of abuse tekken. :-\

as for steve fox,yeah he is top tier, a pro steve player can be extremely hard to beat because his hit frame rate is borderline cheap steve,hwoarang and ling are the main 3 players I struggle against.

oh and one exceptionally god like yoshi user called Kinghelm. That guy is fucking amazing with yoshi you should add him or watch his youtube vids.

Oh snap, Armor King is my second favorite and best from Tekken with King being my first. Really lovin what I see here.

thanks, armor is my fav, I used to be a king guy until they slowed him down because of all the complaints king got in tekken 4 saying he was too fast and powerful  :-\ then tekken dr and 6 brought back armor king  fast and powerful so in the end was there really any point in slowing king down??

So far so good. Only problem I have right now at the moment is his idle stance and walking. I havent see the running much yet. I know 3D animating can be a pain in the butt but take MUGEN as a practice tool. Thats how I see it and hopefully many artist and animators see that one day. :P but good job.

Yeah I plan to change that, this time use about 40 frames for his idle. Nah not at all I don't see 3d animation as a pain in the ass for me it is practice like you say and also pretty useful for mugen. sprite accuracy/consistency is great this way.

Armor will be able to use the Bridge similar to the way King uses it with his Rudo Mask.
Back bridge to Kip Up attack.

I really don´t know why King has this item move. IMO it´s a Armor King move/taunt, just like in one of his intros.

me neither, it did kind of irritate me that armor king couldnt do it in a match, i used to do it with king all the time when i was up against a noob player lol. I'd hold down 1+2 for ages to stay in the bridge position then release when they ran at me to kip up. another thing that pissed me off a little is how they gave all of armor kings chain throws to king.

yeah give him some wrestling moves like walls of jerico would be cool
btw nice to see a tekken char

I dunno how walls off jericho would look on a 2d plane. My characters have lots of custom hit animations so i could create animations with my characters but with others who don't have a walls of jericho hit animation it would look weird.

No haven't heard of him, it wasn't just rigging nemesis that was a pain I had to re texture him so that there was no colorloss in mugen and narrorw his scheme down to simple palettes. all that is gone, the only thing I have of nemesis now is the basic version of the sff with his walking animations and thats it, if i were to continue him, the textures I'd have to re create will not look identical to the sff ones.

rigging isn't a problem with most characters but with nemesis it was a major pain in the ass painting weights because he had so much detail.

Hmm, You had issues with the textures too? May I look at them, I like working with textures. :)

I think it's awesome that you are including all of those WWE finishers into his moveset.  Here's a suggestion, if the rock bottom doesn't look good, you can replace it with Booker T's Book End/Ezekiel Jackson's Book of Ezekiel (same move, different name) which is a high angle version that might look a little better.  Good luck with this guy either way.

Thanks yeah that probably will look better then the a rock bottom on a 2d plane actually.

It might not be all the sounds, but it's a thought. :P

I could do that but I'm also not going through the process of rigging nemesis again. Too much went into that guy.

Armor King III looks nice though,
the only thing i could comment on is his waist/upperlegs, they seem to small to me
(especially his crotch...he's not a girl is he XD Give the man some MAN in his pants  ::)

I would have been more pissed off if i had hit a milestone in the nemesis creation but oh well, never again will i deal with windows vista the master of system corruption.

as for armor's crotch, i don't think nothings wrong with it? :???: but I could pull it down a bit and see how it looks.

My other teammate is currently in the process of modelling Bryan Fury since he is a avid bryan fury player. I'm not too shabby with bryan myself either but it will be fun to put him in mugen too.

Other Tekken possibilities:
At the moment the only 2 confirmed are Armor king III and bryan fury (Not by me). Nothing else has been stated from my team and to be honest my hands are full. King may be a possibility since its literally a colour swap of armor king and obviously I'd just have to model his pants.[/spoiler]

Wonderful work, as usual. The only thing I'ld add is the demonic crowd watching the fight... but in the front layer (showing their backs to the camera). That would be neat IMO.

thanks, there is a demonic crowd in the distance watching, I think if i put some in the front layer it might obstruct the fight too much even with transparency. Also the  crowd seating is pretty far from the action behind the inferno.
