Loving the screenpack! :D but I've been on a mugen absence for about a year or so, so I'm a little..rusty o~o can anyone tell me how to avoid the pallets getting all messed up whenever I replace a character's original (9000,0) (9000,1) to the custom ports provided? Every time I replace the portrait, the portrait in the game ends up looking like crap. :c thank you

Quick question, how can I edit his sprites so that I can like, change his portraits because I use a pack that uses custom portraits. When I open him in fighter factory ultimate, none of his sprites show. :( I never got characters like these, dont authors know we use custom portraits sometimes? <:/

Well the screenpack obviousy updated to 1.0 so im sure 480p is out of the question. But dont worry, I tried everything to the best of my knowledge and nothing. The Broken Mugen Screenpack doesn't even open w/an application file, its off a batch file so the only thing to look at is the system.def, depending the slots of course. :/ because each batch file has a system.def

Make sure to look through the actual posts on the topic because your question could be answered, as in this case it is, in there before you make a whole new topic just to waste our times.

but simple answer is, just change the resolution to 640x480 in the mugen.cfg

Since when was having older model computers the new "hip" thing? o~o I cant even use the awesome Dragon's Rebirth screenpack just because I have windows 8. Nowadays, people are going to have updated computers. I swear I dont get MUGEN nowadays.

BUT

Are you sure? I honestly dont think thats the problem unless someone else tells me (in either a rudely manner or polite) that it is. But keep in mind that this is 1.0 so like..I mean I know its not going to be HD but I was honestly just expecting it to be 640x480 sreen and not stretched. Other packs work like WarZoNe or Project Diva SP and those are 640x480, they're not stretched obviously but they work? (because I have a TOSHIBA laptop and the extra black space on my screen annoys me but its cool). So yeah, im sure they couldn't make Broken Mugen like that, thats a very popular screenpack. Thanks. Anymore help will be appreciated deeply.

I've always been told that most playstation 3 controllers dont work w/PCs. Its best to just get an actual pc gamepad. :/
I've tried 2 different ps3 controllers and they were never compatible with mugen.

Im using the screenpack "VS The World" by thalbc but I realize that the screenpack is missing the symbols like (? . / ") and even numbers. So like "GokuZ2" The "2" will not show at all. And on the winquote screen, there is no punctuation or w/e. Like periods, apostrophes and what not, they dont show. :( its a little disappointing. Is there a fix to this? Or any suggestions. Is it possible to download another font? Thanks.

thanks! This is a nice screenpack. :D but you see, I actually do like and kinda want a 1280x720 screenpack but like, its the little things that make me want to just stay with 640x480. Like some characters arn't really compatible or just dont work right. Screen effects are off or like perfect example is like Cody SF4 by Mr. I, his revenge meter doesn't show because its too low. Stuff like that yeah but I want a 1280x720 because its HD first of all and it fits my screen when I full screen it. :/ and looks better so yeah, they have they're up and downs. :[

OHH Okay, you see now its making sense. Im using windows 8+. Damn, it seriously doesnt work on windows 8? Thats a shame. Thanks for that, at least now I know. Guess i gotta wait. :[

Seriously,  I join the files, obviously, I got that part and got the .rar Extracted the folder and even when I go straight to the MDR_SP, here comes the pop up "failed to load module libresaple.dll". Like wha? I just bought a new laptop, this is the one. I can run this thing. But I guess im going to have to find another screenpack but I doubt ill be able to find a good one like this. TnT

I extract the 1.0 files into the main folder and this comes up when I try to open the MDR_SP

I cant seem to download the Dragon's Rebirth because they have these weird .Zip files and I know its said to download the FFSJ but it sill never seems to work because once I download it, it always turns out not to be the FFSJ, instead it download all these other unwanted programs that I DONT want and then I have to remove them from my computer then change my settings on chrome back because it messed that up too! D: Im sorry, you can call me lazy or whatever but why cant there simply be a .zip file on mediafire or something? Can anyone provide me with a mirror of the screenpack of some sort, thanks in advanced.

I am getting so so so so frustrated over this because I know this is so freaken simple like OMG but plz help me. I using BIG BOSS's Nexus screenpack and on the victory screen, it fades away too fast so I made it longer by changing the time to stay on screen.

as so BUT (this is what is UGHH) theres a little black transition animation to it.

this thing (what u see above) that happens too early because its still set to the original "stay on screen" time. So I KNOW that this has something to do with it..

because I check that 313 is the transition animaion. I would think that simply changing the last number to maybe a bigger number would help since its the time tics but NO it does nothing at all, as if I never even changed it. It stay the same. Please help me, how can make this animation wait longer that wait I can sync with the new "on screen time" I put. Ive spent hours on just trying to figure it out myself but no luck. Im about to flip a table like OMG!

Im having trouble downloading the file, im sorry. >.< I want the 1.0 version but I see theres only two specific downloads (parts) but like..when I download them, they dont come as a .rar file so that i can extract them, it comes as another weird file idk about and then when I try to open it, it downloads this WinRar crap that downloads 5 other programs onto my computer, im confused here. Is there a mirror of any sort that i cant probably try to download this screenpack in 1.0 from. :/ thanks

Looks pretty good, but I'd recommend to take out the chip images, it takes too much space and it can be a little annoying.

This looks promising. If you want to keep the chips then making them smaller would help.

The chip images appear and go away in a blink of an eye, making it almost impossible to get annoyed/distracted by them. I'll be posting a video soon on him that way full motion is viewed. ;)

Damn. I had ripped some voices from the anime.. Can't find them right now, but if you're using the japanese voices, check my folder: http://www.mediafire.com/#9ces94y6c9od9 Might be useful. I had the voice where he Yells "Gutsman"! and "Forte!" I'll look later. and all the other battlechips.

But as of now, Megaman has no voices but the ones he came with (which are yes, Japanese) but I think it was only his win pose that had it. The rest are just shouts and grunts. I think bass also had a Japanese voice that I still kept so yeah, Japanese voices are used.

I'd be willing to try upgrading these GBA sprites to something similar in style to the character, if you'd like. For the guns and protoman and such. Just send them over to me and let me work my magic on 'em.

That would be nice, but um, what sprites do you plan on using? :/
